Lots of old dudes on this sub, so of course they’ll immediately shun things like emojis, texting, Snapchat, IG, etc. IMO there’s nothing wrong with using it. I’ve never had a women interested in me become uninterested after an emoji, or vice-versa.

If a hot guy does it, she’ll hamster that he is charming. If an ugly guy does it, she’ll hamster that he’s a pussy. Literally doesn’t matter.

Emotion - not something you wanna readily display as a man. Not saying men should be emotionless, but avid displays of emotion are for women, and straight women are attracted to men.

How you use emojis are more important than if you do,I've used them in chats though context is also a factor when placed on its use. Adaptation to the forms of communication is will always be in your favour but time and place for them are even more of a underlined notion.

Don't listen to those who say emojis are "beta" or not masculine. That is not the problem and there is no word that a masculine man cannot write.

The problem is to measure what you give. These emojis represent an emotion that is quite intense : Adoration and admiration.

If you give these emotion during moments that are not carefully selected, you will dilute the value that come with this emotion.

It's exactly the same pattern for saying "Thank you". If you never say it, you're a an asshole and no one will bother doing you a favour. If you say if for every little service or kindness, then the word becomes a free token that you use to satisfy people.

Instead, you have to use the word when you truly mean it, and when an action truly deserved it.
