Marriage maybe not. But I believe it is part of my personal RP philosophy to have kids. I have decent genetics and I don't believe in my name dying with me. You should have a cushy retirement regardless of marriage or children because no one wants to burden others.

You don't need to marry to have kids. Just search for a great woman/create a unicorn with great genes who would want your children. You don't have to marry her.
