While camping in a group, how would you react to one of the women taking charge of the work, such as gathering wood, leading hikes, launching the boat, dressing fish, etc?

I'd be happy to work alongside her. Nothing in TRP says that a woman who can handle her shit shouldn't be allowed to handle her shit. What TRP does say is that most women can't, and they expect someone else to pick up the slack all while maintaining the allusion that they're an equal.

So in conclusion...work alongside her as long at it's actually alongside her. The instant she's not holding her own...........you push her aside and take over.

Then I'll go ahead and do whatever she said - if I think it's a good idea. If not, I say, "Who appointed YOU mamma," and do whatever I think is a good idea.

I'm not exactly sure what you are saying here. What do you mean by taking charge? If you are saying that you turn into the boss and start ordering everyone at the campground around and delegating all the chores to whoever you can get to do them then my feelings would be to laugh at such a person whether it be male or female.

If however you are saying taking charge to mean that you don't need to be asked and that you just get into the chore and do it than that's a completely different beast.

If you want to gather the wood that's cool. Go ahead. You want to dress the fish? Ok just don't screw it up. You want to launch my boat? Not unless you have proven multiple times that you are absolutely better at it than I am. Leading hikes? Why? Are you more knowledgeable than everyone else there? Do you know the area better than other people? Can you spot or fight off danger better than anyone else there?

Test her. For example if she's leading the hike find something interesting you want to check out and say "hey we should go check out x" if she blows you off, say, "well I didn't come out camping to follow you around the woods, I'm gonna go check it out" If she's just got a hardon for power, she won't be willing to take the groups interests into consideration and shouldn't be followed. At that point we would be mortal enemies in direct competition. If she's just taking charge because she's competent, well, that's uncommon even in males but I wouldn't have a problem with that.
