What is your goal on this sub? I’d like to assume you came here because you’re having trouble figuring women out. They likely played you and you can’t figure out what it is you’re missing or what you did wrong. That’s how most of us found here. The good thing about this sub is the main element, which is self improvement. Become the best version of yourself. Not for women, that’s a bi product (so far in my life women aside from my mother haven’t helped me get where I am, they just offer some wet holes and companionship). But for yourself. Why would you want to live your life to only half your potential? Imagine being on your deathbed, looking back at your life and not thinking you did all you could to make the best out of it.

Being successful is for yourself. It improves other facets of your life. By getting your shit together, women start choosing you rather than you chasing ass. You get money, which speaks for itself. You gain confidence, and therefore you can develop a frame that people can’t break. You have all the tools to become an alpha male. I can’t see why you would just want to be average when you can be more.

Throwing parties or being a surfer bro? You won’t be 23 forever. If those are your passion, then pursue them and make money off of them. Otherwise, why bother. They just become hobbies. Outside of college and social media influencers I don’t know anybody known for their party throwing skills.

I've been extremely driven since I was born. When I was 7 I forced my mom to buy me a hat for UCLA (thinking it was one of the best schools--also it was far af from where I lived) and said "I'm going here." I went to a better school than UCLA. I grew up poor.

You're describing a rather average life, which the people that want to be "RP'd," for one reason or another, have decided they don't want.

At the same time, you may want that and be comfortable with that. That's completely fine. But if you want that, you're not in the right place.

You need money to have a house to have homies over and chill. You need to be successful to get to that point. If you don't want an extra hobby so be it. It's all about what you want in life, and then you make a plan to get there and execute.

Sounds like you're making an excuse to be beta. Good times create weak men. Yeah maybe you wont be swimming in money or extremely sucessful but that doesnt mean you shouldnt strive to be.

"Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss you will land among the stars".

For example, Try to get to 10% bodyfat and even if you fail you'll still be 15% instead of 30%. Your definition of success may not be the traditional make a lot of money and that's fine but dont live a mediocre life because your friends scraped by and did everything by the books and seem happy.

That's the problem that I see in the red pill community. There are way too many guys on here that take the red pill discussion by saying: you have to look like a god, be as rich as a god, and remember....be a god or fail.

And I'll be honest, I got pumped when first reading all this stuff and tried to do everything at once and to be honest I wasn't happy. I felt like an ant trying to build an entire ant hill by myself. Not impossible, but will it will take your entire life and you will be tired and miserable in the meantime.

The way I look at it now, being successful isn't trying to be the next Dan Blitzerian. Being successful is setting goals and working on them for satisfaction. It can be as simple as making your bed a different way, to cooking a new meal, to learning a trade.

Money is important but lets be honest, most of us won't get rich even if we try. Most "becoming rich" stories involve work, sure, but there is always luck involved, right timing, meeting the right person, etc. We hear about the success stories but not the failures. Logistically it's just not likely. But we can certainly live a comfortable life with proper planning and having at least some ambition. There are many dudes that make $50K a year and have more to show for it than others that make over $100K.

As far as women, it's certainly true that you have to be in the top 20% category as far as looks, finances, game, etc to stand out more. But honestly, for what? More pussy? More drama? More bullshit? If you see a girl you want to fuck/date, just maintain frame and have fun. If it lasts a night, cool. If it lasts, a lifetime, cool too. Just find a good balance of keeping busy, staying fulfilled, and not taking shit. That is true success.

Having more of everything is often praised as a virtue, especially in western culture, and I can't see why. The need to be extremely productive, to be better, the grind...

Perhaps some people are wired this way, and they happen to be the ones controlling the narrative. Perhaps people like you and me have no genuine need for infinite growth.

But then sometimes I get this rush of ambition and it feels more true than anything else and it makes me pissed off at myself for forgetting my ambitious side.

I see what you are saying, most guys will respond like mr. smith because that is actually a redpill to swallow also. Trying to get "rich" is also blue pill economic treadmill thinking. But just like normal "redpill" its all about how you approach something, your mindset.

You need to pimp the system and dont let the system pimp you like some beta bitch. The thing is the way the system is built you NEED money to be able to live a decent lifestyle. You have to build your life to be self reliant where you are not a whore on a track. Was a term on movie called fuck you money.

At end of day, find out what you want and how you can get there. There are many routes, some guys are going minimalist because they dont want to work to hard so they lower their expenses. Some guys want to actually run beta bux game as bait (yes it works if your mindset is right) so they work hard to achieve. At end of day, run your own race and focus on you.

I understand where you are coming from. To be completely honest, I share parts of your "view" on this.

It's easy to think "Why do XY when this other guy didn't do anything seemingly has everything fall into his lap" (Girlfriend, house, car, happieness etc.) But what you don't see is the stuff they did to get there.

Money is, in another sense, freedom. Yeah, if I could choose between working or not, of course I would stop working. But I work to reach a certain level of comfort and safety with the money I earn. It is what it is - You need money in this world to do anything, no matter of shitty that realisation is.

To add onto this: If you always go with the flow, you will only get what's handed to you, which rarely is on a satisfying level. Furthermore you have no influence on your destination.

Does anyone here have a more fun mission? Like throwing parties or being a surfer bro?

In a sense, that's me. I fucked around a lot up to my early twenties, basically amounting to nothing. I always wanted to be the guy who is known by everyone, gets all the bitches, socially succesfull etc. and my mindset was that if I would go a serious career path I would have no time for all of that shit and thus miss out on all the fun shit everyone else would be doing meanwhile.

I realized I could still throw parties and be a surfer dude with even higher SMV due to having my shit together + money. Your problem is that you think it's either "this or that". You can have a shit ton of fun and still be succesful. All these missed opportunities I had in my early twenties because I lived at home with no car and no money.

I have a lot to catch up (education and career wise) and in some way I regret that I did not start sooner. I am only at the beginning, but already have more money than the majority of my peers. And guess what, I still go to fun parties.

I actually bought a place where I can throw parties at. Isolated, with everything you could ever want. I can blast music as loud as I want. People are messaging ME if they can come over. I even have people just showing up, because I am one of their top priority options. Maybe that's some motivation for you. Get money in order to make those banger house parties reality.

I never saw myself getting a normal job. And with the internet anything is possible. I def dont want a job or a wife anytime soon. Im into bodybuilding and media and shit so i want to do something like that. And live in a major city cuz fuck small town mindsets

In my opinion, an ideal “mission” is one that makes money, you enjoy the process of doing it, and you can step back and be happy with the way you spend your time and the impact that you make on the world. You don’t have to be self employed, you don’t have to be a software engineer.

It seems like your desire to fit in is stronger than your desire to get what you really want

I want to be rich and successful for myself. I have a lot of things I want to do in life that I just can't do without money. I also love partying, drinking and drugs and I would love to be able to travel all around the world and do cool shit.

I want to be able to go to an island with my friends and a bunch of hot bitches and party our ass off. I would love to go to a shit ton of concerts and music festivals. I would love to have a sick ass city penthouse where I can fuck a girl against the glass window that goes floor to ceiling. I cant do any of that shit without money.

Having money makes your life exponentially better and if one day I decide to have kids, they won't have to go through the same shit I had to about worrying about money and college, etc.
