Let's set the record straight. If you are employable and make any effort at all, you will have a job. I interview people nearly every day that I work. If a guy with an RP mindset ever sat across from me and didn't raise any red flags, he would almost definitely get the job. If you are unemployed for more than a calendar week, you are being lazy.

I’ve been underemployed for several years and I generally slay it. So, I think it’s all a frame issue. I just say I’m semi retired. It’s not a lie, I pick and chose the temp jobs that suit me i.e. construction projects that I can handle by myself. Plus I fill my life with insane amounts of fun shit, hobbies, etc. most people dream of living like guys of our ilk. Are you lifting, reading, eating well and working on yourself? Then any employment situation doesn’t really matter. This is real shit.

People are largely unconscious meaning that they dwell on the superficial level, where things like employment, wealth, social circle, physical appearance, clothes, and status overall define your worth.

Is this accurate? Not really. Spend a few months meditating and you’ll see that none of this actually defines you as a person. The idea of “worth” or “value” actually starts to make less and less sense to you.

However, on this superficial level (you can call it the level of the ego I suppose), these things matter. If you want women, these things matter. It comes down to knowing how to play the game more efficiently.

I understand that people look for these things to determine another’s worth. Meditation has, however, allowed me to not define myself by any of it.

A lot of right wing talking points about how you're a bum for not having a job, nothing about the realities of competitive markets, skillsets, etc. Market darwinism at its finest, then they complain about how women are so materialistic.

Your worth drops if your inner game isn't congruent with your reality of unemployment. If they sense you're not happy with your situation, that's when you lose it.
