Personally for me, I like to have a drink every day. I used to start off my mornings with a glass of vodka, but I can't do that anymore being in the military and all, but I still love to end the day with a drink.

It warms me up and loosens you up to deal with people throughout the day. Someone prior to me put it nicely, "social lubrication". I used to sell cars, and most of us would start off the day with a mixed drink and refresh again about 2 or 3PM. Sometimes lunch. It just depended on the day.

You have to remain in control. Never just chug away. If you can't handle a certain amount, drink under that limit. Know your limits. Vodka is a great way to keep your metabolism high, too. Don't let haters fool you. Vodka is fantastic for the metabolism.

Addiction. Once you have one or two you can't stop until you pass out. Most people seem to drink a lot of hard liquor at first, then realise they get too fucked up too quickly. Then they start drinking beer instead but they get full and no as drunk as they would like. Finally they start to drink wine and it's a nice place right between beer and wine. Then they start drinking 4-6 bottles at a bar and realise they have a problem.

Some do it because it's fun. Others do it because it allows them to forget painful realities. Others do it because it helps them gain a transient state of confidence.

I don't binge drink often, but when I do, it's because I find it fun and because it gives me a temporary boost in confidence. Mostly the former though. Using alcohol as a crutch can lead you down a slippery slope.

Red pill men drink as much as they want as long as they can stay in control and also as long as it pertains to their diet. Fitness being such a priority we can already assume it's not very much.

I would say 2 to 5 beers gets me socially lubricated and also helps with longevity in the bedroom. Anything more than that and I lose ability to socialize and perform, something good which isn't very responsible or red pill at all.

Dude, there are a million reasons.
Getting a bit high is a nice feeling. It works wonders to forcefully stop your brain from a stressful day or days at work. If you're in the right mood it might inhibit anxieties and make approaching easier.

Honestly, I appreciate a good beer, it tastes amazing, I've been nerding it out for nearly 9 years. I can tell you, it's the thing I miss the most in my current diet, I usually tried one new and had one known beer every week.
A good Whisky is something you don't need a lot of training to enjoy either. I'm not particularly fond of wine, but it actually works well with food.

Drinking is fun just as caffeine or sugar is. The way it influences your mindset. Energized, tired, or numb. Alcohol helps me realize that nothing really matters. Slowly I'm trying to have that mindset while sober but hey... trial and error.

There is an age when only "too much" is enough.

Some people like the feeling of being drunk, for whatever reason.

Other people lack self control, and that second drink leads to a 3rd and then a 4th etc.

I like feeling good, and I dislike feeling bad. I also like to wake up in my own bed and not get free room and board on the county, so I stop at two.

Best advice: "Drink the first, sip the second, skip the third."
