I can't speak from a TRP knowledge base but masculinity is a far bigger thing in Hispanic culture, and has not been neutered(or as neutered) as in our American/European(assuming that is your origin) culture. You see this in Hispanic men.

Feminism hasn't made quite an impact in latin america for several reasons.

1- As someone mentioned, the language barrier. Everything is gendered, a lot of concepts are different, and concepts are just framed differently.

2- Family is still a vital part of latin america. Family roles are still normal, with women expected to hold domestic duties, but this is slowly changing.

3- Most people live at home until they're married, or at least until they're done with school. This is done for several pragmatic reasons, but also keeps the family together, as well as avoids your daughter becoming the local pump and dump. Granted, Hispanic culture isn't known for it's chastity..

4- Women in Hispanic culture are flat out encouraged to develop, and flaunt, their sexuality. They never had this puritanical notion of being ashamed of their sexuality, they flat out accept it. They understand that being sexy doesn't necessarily make you a slut, but they do understand it gets you male attention (which all women want).

5- The soap operas are about as red pill as they get. Growing up my mom I would watch these things, and I would watch them with her to practice my Spanish. They speak a lot of human nature and hypergamy, although super dramatic to keep their viewer base (women) coming back for more. They are SUPER hoaky, but did teach me a lot of these concepts at an early age. I wouldn't recommend watching them, but they did affect me in a positive way.

6- Hispanic culture still wants strong men. Weak men are still viewed as pathetic, and aren't projected as an ideal.

Granted, I'm bias, as my family is from Mexico, but hey, what do you juan from me.

Others have noticed that France and Latin America aren't following the feminist narrative to nearly the same degree. The theory is, the bullshit doesn't translate across languages that well.

I've been reading a lot about narcissism lately and I think perhaps the people who are so against TRP may have experience with a narcissist or fear that this philosophy will turn a man into one. I can certainly see how a narcissist would be drawn to the ideas of TRP, since they have a strong desire to control the person they are in a relationship with and they naturally display dread. This could give them the perfect way to explain away their behaviors and deny the narcissism.

That being said, most men are not pathological to this level. I also believe that there is really no denying the underlying human nature as its explained in TRP philosophy, so there's no reason to throw the baby out with the bath water, which is essentially what many people are doing out of fear.
