I'm looking for some strategies to deal with not fitting in with the hivemind.

What you're (unknowingly) looking for is a way to cause problems for yourself and be passed up on promotions / raises because you do good work but don't fit in. Law 38: Think as you like, behave like others. There are no other strategies.

Read The Power Of Now or your favorite book of choice on Zen and always be calm / self-aware at work.
Read How To Win Friends And Influence People, more importantly, INTERNALIZE IT AND APPLY IT.
Don't be eager to distinguish yourself ...the tall grass gets cut. This is extremely important.
Read this blog to get yourself ready for CorporateLand^tm, especially posts like this and this.

There is a Director at the tech company I work for who is a tall, attractive, English, muscular & well dressed former rugby Captain. He is beta as fuck in the office. Overly nice. You can tell it's an act meant to make less attractive men feel more at ease around him, and keep women from trying too hard to jump on his dick (which still happens).

I watched a female manager ask him out for lunch and he was just like "no" and walked away. She hid the butthurt well.

Point is, dress like a wolf in sheep's clothing. Or else the sheep will get scared and hate you.

Go ahead and drop the generalizations. I'm a cyber security engineer who works for and alphabet soup of agencies and first and foremost, my job does not define me.

Work is what I do to pay the bills. It's a job, and short of being a pro-athlete or independently wealthy, who gives a fuck what you do? Engineering jobs pay well.

Leave work at work. Leave TRP for everywhere else. You can be confident and driven at work, embodying TRP principals and you'll be fine. Just don't try to go alpha on the boss. Strike a balance.

You don't have to lie about your beliefs, but you also don't have to preach TRP in a work setting. Think of TRP as Fight Club, and the first rule is...

Do you guys find you have to censor yourself and/or lie about your thoughts/beliefs?

Now I always do unless I'm "joking." I spread my beliefs to many of my roommates when I was unplugging. Mixed reactions - one moved out, another laughed a whole lot, and a third was impressed that I caught up to and surpassed his misogyny. This third roommate didn't approve of all the loose women coming by the house, but overall he was pleased to feel up a few and get some make-outs in.

Sorry Dave I had no idea how much you could hear through the walls and I only found out when you told me you were leaving.

A fourth former roommate who moved for work is back in town and he thanked me for sharing my perspective - it had helped him manage modern relationships and avoid being a needy bitch. That I am glad for!

However the costs to me have been severe - I have a mixed reputation in a small town. In about 1 year I haven't been able to undo a tiny sliver of 2 years of open debauchery.
