Get more sleep / calories. If you can still lift the same/more weight, i'd go for it. If not just head to bed early.. Usually 10 hours of sleep solves any DOMS for me. Usually use weed brownies to get that extra sleep.

Train through it. It will be the best thing for you. An old football coach said to me "You have to learn the difference between pain and injury".

Crippling back pain? Join pain such as knees. Probably rest.

Pain in the muscle bellies and ribs? Especially glutes, quads and pecs. Keep going. After your first few weeks you'll rarely get doms again.

Unless you are physically in pain(doing something wrong) it's fine to work through your soreness. Stretch before and after your workout. Soreness will go away in a few weeks after your body gets more used to the movements

Are you increasing your workouts by 5lb's each session? That is, 2.5 lb's each side of the bar. The purpose of the gradual increase in weight is to prevent significant soreness so you don't have an excuse to skip workouts. Also make sure you have proper form or you'll face a roadblock when you're at heavier weights. Whey protein powder speeds up recovery drastically. Take it on your off(recovery) days too.

Don't be a bitch, you won't get injured doing shitty beginner weight and muscle soreness is no excuse to miss a workout, if anything else aside from the muscle itself hurts, as in joints, tendons, etc, that's a different story.

I wouldn't work through it because the DOMS is an important part of muscle recovery. As soon as you recover pick back up and after a week or two the muscle soreness will disappear because of your muscles getting used to it.

What you are having is DOMS.

It's your muscles 'waking up'. Enter the Matrix. Neo: "Why do my eyes hurt?" Morpheus: "You've never used them before"

So give it a day rest, then workout the next, day rest, workout next... rinse and repeat. It'll will stop by the 2nd or 3rd week.

You'll keep getting some level of DOMS, but it won't be nearly as bad.
