I’m 5’7 and usually make a joke about being sure to wear my heels so we can slow dance and I’ll be taller or something stupid, I also prefer to say at some point before meeting up because some girls just don’t like short guys nothing wrong with that so I feel weird not telling them just in case they do have a problem with it

I’m short too, if I were to use tinder I’d prolly lowball myself down by 3inches (5’3-5’) that way I weed out the girls who were concerned about height You’ll lose a lot more matches, but at least you won’t be wasting time on girls who wouldn’t date a short guy in the first place. It’ll also be a pleasant surprise that your taller to girls that still agree to meet with you

Don't mention it. Not a big deal. Meet up. They are probably 20lbs heavier and much less attractive than pictures anyway. I was once told "you are shorter than guys I'm usually attracted to." I responded "I'm probably more muscular, intelligent, and successful too" and chuckled. Never came up again (I'm 5'8.5").

At the end of the day, we all have things we are self conscious about (i have shitty looking gap in my front teeth), but i just work on myself to improve every day.

We can't control our starting point, only our trajectort. Get after the gym, build self confidence, and things will fall into place. Chin up brother. You aren't any less of a man.

Honestly, I've known multiple short guys who were popular and dominated whatever room they were in. I think a genuine connection will overcome any flaws or weaknesses, so try to be real and connect with her on a common interest or something.

I know it's late but just be honest with yourself and others and put your height on there.

Putting your height will actually filter out the shallow/stuck up girls, and keep the ones that aren't shallow.

That's why direct approach is good, it lets the girl know your intentions so you don't waste your time with her and find out she's not interested.

This is also similar to a dude that says how he feels instead of sugarcoat things. Like, let's say a friend is being a douche to someone, you could either not say anything, or step in and tell him he crossed the line. You gain respect from both of them since you're not afraid to call anyone out on their behavior. Some people may hate you, but a lot more people will respect you, maybe even the ones that hate you
