Just a note on dancing, as I've seen a fair amount of posts around here talking about it in some way. It's all about having fun and being confident. I can't dance for shit. I mean I'm really, really bad. To make things worse, when I do actually go out dancing, it's usually with 3 girls and 1 guy all of who dance professionally, as in, they dance and teach dance for a living, so I look even worse by comparison.

However, the other night, we were all about to go out, having a few drinks at a friend's house before we headed to the club. One of the girls, we'll call her C for conversation's sake, said the following to me.

"I can't wait to dance with you, [Just_another_PUA]."

C is an awesome girl, easily an HB8, although I'd say her personality puts her up to a HB9 for sure. And she is one hell of a dancer. The girl moves in ways I couldn't even imagine. I'm not interested in her for various reasons, however, she's just an awesome friend to have.

"Really?" I asked. "Why? I'm a horrible dancer. I mean it must be embarrassing as hell for you all, not that I care."

"That's exactly it, though, you don't care. It's so obvious that you're having so much fun that it just doesn't matter. Seriously, you're my favorite person to dance with."

Basically, what I'm getting at, is that you don't have to be a good dancer in order to be a good dancer. Strange, but true. If you've got a smile on your face, know you suck, and legitimately don't care about that fact, almost no one else will. And if they do, who cares? In fact, use it to your advantage.

A few weeks back, I was dancing with C, and noticed some girl pointing me out to her friend and having a bit of a laugh. I went right up to her and said, "I'd ask you to dance with me, but I'm pretty sure you can't keep up. Don't beat yourself up over it though," and then walked away. Thirty seconds later she was right there on the dance floor with me. A couple of songs afterwards, we decide to get some fresh air and a smoke.

She asked "So, now do you think I can keep up with you?"

"Eh, you did well, but there's always room for improvement."

Long story short, I got her number and K-closed a short while later. But the main point is, even if you suck at something, doing it with confidence and a smile will damn near negate most of the sucking aspect of it.
