So she didn't say "Sorry i slept in and missed the first train" just "I missed the first train"

The waiting 20 minutes was your decision, with out her asking. Did you arrange to meet in the first place?

She is on sleeping med as you say, and possibly couldnt have helped sleeping in, she obviously had no malice in what she did, so I would think an apology would not be needed. But that's just me.

In this case a "I am sorry you waited" would more be a pity apology, because she probably feels she did nothing wrong. Which is why she may not have apologise in the first place

You can always ask her why she thought it wasn't necessary to apologise for being late.

What time was this train? Early AM? And what day was it, a weekend or a weekday?

Well, I suppose none of that matters. Would you have felt different if she got on the train on time, but it was delayed 20 minutes for reasons beyond her control?

well i would have called her after she wasn't on the first train. and i would have said "call me next time you're going to be late." no big deal, no skin off my back, but a little mental note made that if she does it again she's going to receive less of my attention/effort. (or perhaps she's going to receive less of it NOW).

you're not supposed to be obvious about this btw. it's more for your sake, not hers.

You should of given her shit all night about how you need a girl that won't be late for important occasions, and then went off on weddings, or funerals. Don't worry about it, as long as you remained in your alpha frame that you have, then its nothing. If it happens again, then there is a problem
