S'up guys.

Re-reading Models by Mark Manson for a third time, and it got me thinking.

For those of you that don't know, Mark Manson's theory of what makes men attractive to women is simple:

Non-Neediness.

It's the opposite of neediness. He uses this in particular, as describing it as confidence or self-esteem brings a whole lot of other connotations that cloud the issue.

So if your not needy, you're attractive. How do you do this? In an interaction you are more emotionally invested in yourself than you are with her. When you can induce her to be more emotionally invested in you than you are in her, that's seduction.

How you do that is a whole different story, and the entire book is dedicated to that.

But something that got me thinking...

We all know that being passionate is attractive.

If you've got enough experience, you'll notice that when you start passionately talking about what you care about, people take notice and listen. Heck it might have even got you laid.

(And if you haven't had this experience, you sure as heck have seen it in others)

When you're passionate about something, when you're describing it to others, if you're charismatic enough, you get others to become invested in your passion. People get carried away by people's passion, it's human nature.

And in the process of getting people invested in your passion, they slightly become invested in you. The moment they become more invested in you (because you're passionately describing to them why finding water on Mars is so damn important for civilization), because of your passion, than you are invested in them...BOOM! Attraction happens.

Or that's my theory anyway. Anyone got any thoughts?
