Met someone i liked and exchanged numbers in a rather friendly way. Since she was a little incompatible to me..and i was seeing someone else i didnt do much about it. Then i became single and decided to ask her plans on weekend.

Before this there has been some teasing from her side and her trying to annoy me.

She agreed to walk around on weekend but i hated not being very transparent about calling it a date so i eventually told her i wish to explore it as a date to which she did some minor drama and said she has a bf .

I left her at that.

I was wondering..if i had kept things vague..am i just wasting my time as she has a bf or have i saved my time by clarifying its a date and getting rejected?

What do u guys usually do?
