More importantly, what you're pursuing is a very passive strategy that relies on luck and women doing the heavy lifting for you. Usually this results in a mediocre passionless relationship where the women is in charge.

You do need to learn basic behaviors and strategies simply because these were probably never taught to you.

Before tinder I had no trouble finding dates, now more than 50% of relationships start on tinder and I'm having no luck. There is probably something you need to change.

I'm sure that there are many who've met someone at the gym. The workout time that I have, is me time, which I don't have a lot of. I had been a member of gyms for the better part of 35 years. I don't want to think about anything other than working and the tunes I'm listening to. It is such me time, that I've assembled my own man cave, so I don't have to deal with anyone. My point is there is a decent chance of missing on someone, who you may have had success with in another setting.

You don't need to learn techniques to talk to women. You just talk to them, and show your interest in them through strong eye contact and flirting/escalation (you don't need techniques for flirting, you can do it your own way if you can think something up).

Yes, some girls you meet at your job will be interested in you. But I wouldn't try and date girls met through work, especially not as my primary/only method. Main method should be going out and meeting them out.
