I'm pretty good at approaching/talking to and getting dates with girls but I feel like I'm self sabotaging the actual dating part. I think I'm probably too open and just talk too much generally. I kind of have a feel for what I'm doing wrong but there's SO much talk about day game and approaching girls etc etc. but a lot less on the game of actual dating. Has anyone read any good books or have any good resources (youtube videos, anything) on how to actually build attraction over the first couple of dates? I literally went on a 7 HOUR first date with a girl the other day and my idiot friends were like "omg you must have really liked each other" and my smart friends were telling me that's likely fucked beyond repair. Turns out the latter were right. IDK what we were even doing we just talked for 7 hours with no escalation on my part
