You won't like this advice but if you follow it, odds are, you will get her back.

Don't initiate contact. Ever.

Ever.

Even if months go by before you talk again.

Even now. The more you do it, and I know you're doing it, the more you reduce the odds of you getting back together.

And if she initiates contact, be polite but don't be excited. Here out what she has to say.

If all she talks about is fluff, politely excuse yourself. Just be too busy to talk any longer.

And then leave it again. No matter how long.

Keep repeating this until she asks to see you.

When she does, take a second to think about it first. Let her wait for your answer for a minute or 2 while you contemplate the other plans you have.

And you should have other things going on because remember, you won't be able to predict when she reaches out to see you, so if you're just free until she reaches out then you're just neglecting the rest of your life.

You shouldn't be actively waiting on her. Just move on with life right now.

Don't deliberately leave an open space for her. Go date and if you meet someone you want to commit to before your ex reaches out, tough shit for her. She didn't move fast enough.

Anyway, if she manages to hit you up before you meet someone else, agree if you genuinely have some time to spare but ideally agree to meet somewhere that's more convenient to you than to her.

She should be the one trying to get to you, not the other way around.

And then go your separate ways until she reaches out to see you again.

If you do see each other again and she does suggest getting back together, make her chase it all the way.

Don't just agree to it. Raise every concern you should also naturally have. Talk about the issues that led to the breakup in the first place and don't be the one who offers solutions, wait and see if she actually has solutions to propose.

Also raise the things you didn't like about the relationship before and let her fix those things.

Here are some examples of things you can say:

"I thought you weren't feeling the spark anymore."

"I thought you wanted to explore other things."

"I dunno, you did say we weren't compatible."

"I didn't like how you used to contradict me in front of our friends though."

"I didn't like how you used to bait me into fights though, like those crazy questions where you'd ask me if I'd cheat on you to save your life."

Etc, etc.

Remember, those are just examples. Use the actual issues that were present in your relationship.

Let her address all of those things.

You can step in and help out as long as she's the one proactively working on it. As long as she's taking the reigns.

Like if there's a communication issue that requires your participation to address, participate but don't take over and be the one facilitating it. Let her do all that.

And basically, let her chase you all the way back into a relationship.

But remember, you should move on starting today.

You likely won't meet your soulmate tomorrow anyway, so she still has time to win you back.

But don't leave her any space in your life, she has to work her way back into a space in your life.

Its the same thing with anyone who initiates a courtship. This person that you haven't met yet is certainly not leaving a space open for you to come in, you have to be the one who works yourself into a space in her life.

Let that be the same for your ex and not only will you get her back but odds are, you'll have an even better relationship the second time around.

Sleep with someone hotter than she is or someone that she knows and leverage social media to make sure she knows about it without it looking like you are trying to make sure she knows about it.

If you feel any hint of "neediness" in you, let go. Personally, I would let go and start dating to ensure I have a healthy esteem--that I can flirt/date with other women with confidence. Your goal is not to fake/pretend confidence to "re-attract" her but just to insure that you're mentally healthy and not in a scarcity mindset.

You have to figure out a way to ‘re-ignite’ the spark. But you also have to move on - be seen with other women and have her know you are talking to other women so she is aware you have options. You also need to think of ways to reimagine/rebuild yourself. You need to create a life for yourself that she wants to see herself be a part of.
