My fellow german seductors!

As reddit is pretty US-centered, the tips and tricks you often read here are coming from a different cultural background. As I have visited the US before, I know how "easy" it is to just go up and talk to people. They're friendly and open, and apparently it's completely normal to talk to strangers (if they don't act weird).

Now my experience here in germany is quite different, and I wanted to discuss your and my experiences with dating. I talked with girls I dated about it, and they all agreed with me. But I'd like to have your opinion.

Basically, my whole game now revolves around online dating apps like tinder and bumble.

Why? Believe me, I tried cold approaching on the street in several cities. I don't have any fear of rejection, it just happens to be not the cultural norm to approach a girl in daylight.

And no, I don't look creepy. I'm pretty successfull with the apps, and on the dates that follow.

Thing is, in smaller towns it's easier to talk to a girl you never met, but in the big cities it's all the same. They always look kinda bummed out, even though I double check if they seem to be in a hurry or something.

So I asked girls I dated if they ever got approached while just walking around in the street, and they all said "no. That's kinda weird." But sometimes this extended to other settings - like a cafe - as well.

I know that those opinions can be biased, tho, as most of the dates were coming from online dating apps. So maybe those girls don't like to be hit on in daylight anyways.

Now I don't talk about approaching in a club, the setting basically lays out that guys will approach girls.

But, as I don't party at all (I don't like it), this is off the table for me.

So what is your experience? Do you approach on the street? How good does it work for you?
