Title says it all.

To all of you over here at seddit, what are your thoughts / opinions on approaching women, during the day or even at night at a bar, while out with family or close companions? What do you think is the best mindset to have when approaching in these situations? What should be our aims?

Personally I feel a little uncomfortable trying to escalate while knowing my family is around and possibly watching me. Is it just me?
