Are extremely attractive women actually approached less than more average women?

I don't know whether extremely attractive ones are approached less or not, but this shouldn't matter, because even though that was true, that wouldn't make her more receptive to you. However, if you think the idea of them being approached less makes you feel easier approaching to them, then assume that it is true and approach. You can actually ask them whether it is true in your conversation.

This is tricky because:

Some women are more of less approachable based on factors other than looks (body language, dress style, facial expressions, positioning, and whether they are alone or in a group of women or mixed group. So, some very attractive women are approached like crazy and some rarely.

But, since you are talking about average, which is a 5 out of 10...I would think 5s get approached less. Since we in game don't generally approach 5s...we aren't asking 5s how often they are approached. I don't see 5s getting approached much in bars (unless it is to get to their more attractive friends), while I see 7s and 8s being approached like crazy.

Fecundity is the idea you are thinking of. In nature, fitness tends to follow a bell curve, meaning that there are few individuals at the very upper end. Men tend to approach those individuals less, since they assume the work needed is too great for the reward.

I've actually discussed this with some of my More attractive female friends and acquaintances. Basically the hot ones get hit on by a ton of drunk guys when out at bars and fairly frequently when they're going about their day to day business.

This suggests to me that make approach anxiety is not enough to overcome the extra attention that attractive females receive when compared to their less attractive peers.
