I’m glad I can spread some positivity. I have a LONG way to go, but I can offer you one factual piece of advice: do NOT stop approaching. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been rejected.
Some girl at a party told me got seriously pissed and screamed in my face because I said Cardi B is an awful rapper. The next week, I approached a girl because I thought she actually looked famailar from one of my classes. She said “nice try” and turned away. Serious wtf moment there.
But you know what? None of that matters to me. Those girls likely forgot about those instances already. If they do remember, who the fuck cares? I’m indifferent.
I’ve always struggled with being too desensitized to people’s emotions, but it actually helps me out in those situations lol.

Good deal man. It’s important for us to reflect on how much we’ve improved. Even when it looks like the odds are against you, just know how many people you’re ahead of already. My friends think I’m a ballsy mastermind, when in reality I don’t know shit about complex PUA techniques. A little self confidence goes a long way.

Pure coincidence. Guess the stars aligned that day, because I would’ve probably never searched for it myself. It came across as a recommended subreddit on my phone app. One tap of the screen literally lead to my life being drastically improved. I don’t even browse other subs remotely close to this one.

I found this place a couple weeks ago. In the last week I’ve got three numbers, one agreeing to a date. I’d not even tried to speak to a girl in the 8 months before last week cause of how bad it was going, this place is amazing.
Another practically asked me for a date herself, then when brought it up she said she’d arranged a date with another guy so would feel bad if she went on two at once. Told her good luck, and if she’s lucky she’ll see me in the local next year (there’s a wetherspoons near our student houses) to which she replied I hope I’m lucky.. women eh? Confusing beings

Motivating stuff man. Just curious, is there a particular post or piece of advice that you would say has helped you the most?
I would say to read every link in the sidebar. Not all at once. Read slowly and really try to digest the info there.
Can’t really target to one single post here, however I can tell you what to avoid. 9/10 articles on here with cringe/clickbait titles like “how to make her worship your cock” are absolutely worthless. Again, this is just my opinion, but avoid anything RSD related. Most of that shit is just inner-game psychedelic fluff designed for one purpose: marketing.
Also, don’t take the advice of anyone that uses weird ass terms and seems super scatterbrained. There are hella “alphas” on here that are disconnected from reality. Example: “opened on a HB7 and HB8 set with a neg, maintained frame then ejected set to my wing.”
That type of shit is not only uninformative, but also extremely overcomplicated and cringey.

This subreddit is really awesome from a self improvement standpoint. I am a female in a happy, committed, long term relationship and I still love this sub. I’ve had a lot of issues with self doubt, standing up for myself, general self confidence- I started following this sub after I got out of a 6 year relationship and it really helped me find the confidence (as a newly singly mom) to get back out there and have fun (which I sure as hell did). I gained a lot more confidence in myself and understanding of basic social interactions, learning how to navigate relationships (new and long term, platonic and romantic), etc. it really helped lay the groundwork that I could build myself up and help me be in a much healthier place for my current relationship.
To piggyback on OP -Mad love to all the contributors here- I rarely comment on posts but I read them and they’ve helped changed my life for the better Cheers!

Nice story man, hope to get to the point where I share mine too. The part that sold me is the 'come here' kiss. That was my tipping point too. Even women I'm not terribly into, let's see what the kiss is like. Because why not?
Keep up the good fight, last night I had my first time experiencing a woman coming over purely to share a night together. Nothing more complicated. Didn't have to do anything other than pour some drinks, hit the tunes and have a mutually good time. It'll happen for you too with where your confidence is at.
