I bet many of the virgins/beginners here aren’t “ready” for sex. When I say “ready”, I mean in an actionable sense (while I imagine many beginners aren’t “ready” in a more abstract sense either, that is an entirely different, much longer topic). If a girl texted you right now to hook up and she was 10 minutes away, how ready would you be?

When was the last time you:

Vacuumed?  Cleaned your bathroom?  Changed your sheets?

In the kitchen do you:

Have dishes piled up in the sink?  Have beer/wine on hand to set the mood?  Have trash sitting longer than a week?

In general:

Do you have condoms handy?  Do you have clothes piled up everywhere?  Are you regularly grooming down under?

If you aren’t doing these things regularly, you should be. Set a schedule to take care of business every week/2 weeks. I wash my sheets before/after every hookup and it makes a difference. I’ve had girls bury their head in my covers and complement how fresh everything smelled. Is vacuuming going to get you laid by itself? No, but it’s about setting yourself up for success. You should take pride in yourself and your personal space, no matter what your living situation is. Also, while she might still hookup with you if you have a disgusting bathroom, do you really want to give her any reason to change her mind?
