Saturday night I was having a good time with my friends in downtown. After hitting the local bars and hanging out with strangers, it was 3:00 in the morning and I decided to take the night bus home. I was at the bus stop surrounded by many people; the bus was late and not coming, so I stood up and moved closer to the sign trying to check what was going on, and I saw a really cute girl standing there and checking for bus on her cell phone.

“What's the worst thing that could happen?” came in my mind, so I walked to her, asked her if she was waiting for the same bus and because it was my first time taking the night bus blah blah blah. We exchanged name and started talking. She is Japanese and I happen to be able to speak Japanese fluently so the conversation was going pretty well. She mentioned she is going back to Japan in 10 days so I was like "I was so going to ask you out for dinner", and she giggled. I asked for her number but she told me she has a boyfriend and it's not a good idea, it sounds like a hard no to me so I said no big deal and we talked until the bus came.

That was the worst outcome, but it's actually nothing. I got to talk to the cute girl and got to know she has a boyfriend so I could move on. If I don't talk to her, I will always be wondering, what could happen if I approach her? I know it takes a lot of confidence to approach someone, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Hit the gym, groom yourself and dress well, put on some cologne so you will make good first impression. It's never creepy when a well-dressed man hit on a pretty girl.

TLDR: approached a girl at bus stop and failed, it doesn't feel bad but amazing.
