I had an amazing day messing with my retail workplace today. The store is generally a stressful place for me to enter because of the bratty women that work there. Today I turned that to my advantage and had everyone talking.

I arrived in a neutral state of mind. I was surprisingly unstressed but I wasn’t entirely happy. I was assigned to the fitting room today – my favourite spot – so I found my way there. As usual, I messed with random customers here, putting them on the spot when they asked for a fitting room and then laughing it off with them. It’s an easy state boost and it works on everyone.

I had just the right amount of outcome independence, high-fiving people, doing small jigs to the sounds around me, and keeping a great poker face. When confronted with conversations, my first thought was self-amusement, which works really well in the retail environment I was in because it didn’t affect anyone harshly and I still got my work done efficiently.

I was presented with a few fun shit tests. I introduced myself to a new girl and she didn’t believe my name was what it was. I told her if I was right, she would give me 5 dollars. Skip to about an hour later and I told her she could give me a kiss on the cheek instead. One girl demanded me to call her by her real name – I give everyone nicknames – and I, of course, didn’t bite. She decided to nickname me “asshole” and I laughed it off and started telling everyone to call me asshole, as well. She then started telling people not to talk to me because I was being bad.

I amplified any sort of negativity that came my way and I put some workers on the spot, cutting off boring conversation topics, when necessary. In one instance, a girl told me as a joke that she would cut me. She tried to change the subject to something more work appropriate but I stuck to the original topic, questioning what she would cut me with. We eventually arrived at the conclusion that she was lying, which made for great teasing and will in the future, as well.

Today’s score? Some great game, an ass grab by one of the customers(grabbing me), and lots of fun.
