Well ..basically absorb any and all seduction/ self-improvement material out there. The book "Models" by Mark Manson is probably one of the best seduction related literature out there. Real Social Dynamics has amazing inner game videos on youtube.

A lot of the original pua books and advice like "The Game" and "Mystery Method" is becoming outdated and promotes a relatively unhealthy and unsustainable pick up culture, so steer clear of those for now.

Watch some in-field videos on how to approach & escalate, but don't try to copy them ..just kind of use them as reference.

You want to start by building your inner game, everything else will fall into place.

Go to YouTube and look up Simple pickup. These guys have helped me change myself in many ways and their tips and advice is genuine. Highly recommend them to anyone.

As /u/southpole4 said, Models is one of the best material on not only seduction, but just how to be a good happy man who knows what he wants and gets it. You definitely should read that book. Everyone should.

Also, watch a lot of stand up comedy and pay attention to tone, delivery, and timing. The more you watch the more you absorb and it almost becomes second nature. I used to watch hours upon hours of stand up, and I would be saying really clever funny things in person that I came up with on my own very quickly, made me very witty. When I would stop watching for a while, I became less witty. So it's a skill just like sports, that you need to practice and keep strong. Same thing with the whole seduction thing, it's a learnable skill that requires practice and fine tuning, with the desire to succeed but the humility to accept failure.

More than anything, have fun with this. Have fun with all of it. If it feels like work you're doing it wrong. Don't be afraid to fail. Don't take yourself too seriously and laugh at your mistakes. And know in your mind that you will eventually get to where you want to get, and that you just need to deal with and enjoy the journey and path to where you want to get.

Try clearing your mind before you approach... then just saying comes to you mind. It's really that simple. Not easy at first, but conceptually it is simple.

One thing that can help is to start making little comments to yourself about the world as you walk around. Self amusement is best. Joke to yourself about the world around you. Joke to yourself in your head about how creepy that old building is. Joke to yourself in your head about how much that random guy looks like Hulk Hogan. (just very random examples). Doing this gave me a bit more spontaneity and an ability to talk on autopilot.

But again. Stop thinking so much you have nothing to say. Say what you feel in the moment.

It's common. You get better with approaches and time.

Best advice I can give is to not be too serious about it - treat it like a game and fun. You're just talking to people, poking fun, bantering, and smiling. Not shouldn't be a chore.

tbh I think random pickups are bad territory to start off in - especially if you lack confidence. is there any way to meet new girls in a natural location (e.g. school, work,...)? This way you have something to talk about and people to learn with. If the person you try to approach isnt a complete stranger its nice knowing that the target has a positive position towards you, rather than a defensive/negative.

If you dont have the opportunity, go for random pickups - but the way I described helped me a lot when I started off approaching.

Do it with a friend. This is my only advice!

You would over analyse every interaction if you are by your self and you will get in your own head and let your self down.

Get a friend to try Pick up with you for encouragement and you will develop much faster with the feedback.
