No problem man, I was once in your shoes before. Remember that you have to improve yourself first before you can become successful with women.

When I used to cold approach, it was very rare that a girl would make eye contact with me prior to the approach. You're better off getting their attention by using a direct "opener".

RSD is cool and a good starting point. I think their best strength is confidence building. I've seen a lot of stupid shit put out by some of their instructors though, so make sure you don't get sucked into that stuff. I usually stick with Tyler's videos and advice. Also, read Models by Mark Manson ..it'll probably help more than RSD.

Being vulnerable means that you will say/do things that may change someone's opinion of you for better or for worse. Sounds confusing, but it's basically acting the way you naturally are without caring what people think of you. Hopefully your natural actions are good ones though. The idea is the women will be attracted to guys who apologetically act like themselves because it displays true-confidence. You're more invested in yourself than others. When it comes to sharing stories and opinions, of…

What would I do? I would forget about the girl and work on gaining some social skills. I would make friends, pursue hobbies, join a gym, and stop making excuses. I would join a public speaking or acting class or something similar to improve social skills and confidence. And being Indian has nothing to do with this. I'm ethnically Indian and trust me when I say, most Indian girls are not much different than other races out there.

Women shouldn't be the #1 thing going on in your life, or even the #1 priority at a party or bar. You should always be your number one priority. More specifically, your number one goal should be to create your own fun and entertainment. When women realize that you're more invested in yourself than you are in them, they will become attracted. There's many ways to do this. Your friend ignoring the girls is simply a game that works short term, but doesn't work well after the girl has her validation…

Wow that's fairly cheap. Did you experience and shock loss from the procedure? Is your donor area fairly intact? I'm almost certain I want to get one done within the next 5 years, looking forward to having presentable hair for once.

Oh I didn't think of that, thanks! The middle is my biggest concern. I could live with receded temples as majority of guys experience this and it even looks "normal" with age, but horseshoe pattern looks much worse and it's nearly impossible to style. How long did it take for the hair to grow in? And what was the cost?

Sorry not trying to be too critical. But I could tell you're inexperienced, I mean shit I am too. Read up on Models by Mark Manson, and No More Mr. Nice Guy. You'll be fine

Are you asking us how to set up a study session? Holy shit dude just ask her in whatever medium is most comfortable/natural. IMO a study sesh doesn't equal a date so hit her up again after finals to plan something more fun/intimate.

Why not try that out first? if you totally hate it...grow it back and get your transplant? I guess I can give it a shot, but I've been avoiding altering my hairstyle. My hair line is naturally high and in the last 5 years I've gotten a little bit of loss on a couple areas. I have a horse-shoe type of hair loss, so the hair at my temples look great but everything else suffers. I can't "wear it up" without showing too much forehead. Always been self-conscious about it. But honestly, if you were to…

Thanks for sharing. It's so funny hearing him talking about that minoxidil/azelic acid mix because I used to take that and it was seriously like a miracle cure before FDA took it away. My situation is a bit different. I have all of my hair minus a tiny bit off of my hairline. I just wanted to get something small done to strengthen my hairline so I can style it better.
/r/seduction16/12/15 12:03 AM

Do you have any recommendations on where to get it done, or where to find a doctor for it? I have a full head of hair and I'm just looking for minor work for my hairline.

Sweet, this is what I came here for. I think this is a great way of being affectionate without a girl losing respect for you. How did you develop this kind of relationship? Is it the matter of finding the right girl? Did you tell her how you prefer to be in relationship early on?
/r/seduction03/12/15 11:17 PM
1

Yes I agree. I'm going to add things that work and take away what doesn't. I think everyone's freaking out because they think I'm throwing out the book but that's not the case at all. I'm taking what already works and simply tuning it to my preference.
/r/seduction03/12/15 09:24 PM

The focus of your affection should be her needs, her pleasure, her roller coaster ride that you are taking her on. You have no needs, you are just there to satisfy her. When you do that, she will get the "swept off her feet feeling" and fall hard. If you reveal neediness on your part, then it will almost certainly turn her off. Agreed. I wouldn't be affectionate just to try and elicit the same behavior from her ..I wouldn't necessarily expect the same response from her. Only reveal that part of …

What you need is a shift of perspective. The world doesn't run on clean, border cut models of "nice guys" and "bad boys". Being affectionate doesn't mean you can't get laid. Being affectionate to feel good about yourself also doesn't mean you can't get laid but you tend to put a lot of pressure on people. Agree with this completely. I spent too much time pretending to be an uninterested bad boy only to enter into unfulfilling/unsuccessful relationships. I just need to find a happy medium between…

Well here's the thing ...I've been doing things "your way" for some time now. Yes, it works on some women ...but these women are usually superficial and insecure (chasing guys for validation). Trust me man ...I've been on the PUA forums, read lots of literature outside of Models ...and you're right ...what you're saying actually works! The catch is ...I'm not interested in the type of women that those behaviors sometimes attracts. I'm interested in girls that have their head on straight and aren…

I think what also it helps to be unapologetic about it. Meaning, I'm going to act this way because that's just who I am ..and if you don't like it then I'll just find someone who does. I'm not like this to gain a girl's approval ..rather I want to share my affection with someone who is compatible with me.
/r/seduction03/12/15 05:06 AM
2

Thanks man, and yeah I see where you're coming from now. I'd rather be affectionate and attract girls that respond to that rather than be distant and attract those girls. I mean, I'm certain I'll eventually get burned for being affectionate by some girls but at least I know I'm being honest with my actions.
/r/seduction03/12/15 05:00 AM

You can't be both, in the same way you can't please everyone. Can you expand on this? If I understand this correctly ..a woman that likes me may think I'm affectionate, while a girl that is uninterested may think I'm being clingy? I think you're better off being who you are and don't pay attention to the people you annoy with your friendship. I've been thinking this as well. I've tried being someone I'm not so that I can attract girls that aren't my type for too long now.

Wow ..just wow. Thank you so much for posting this. Ever since I was a kid I thought that having a woman in your life was the greatest thing you can achieve, but over the last year I've began to realize that no girl can bring me complete happiness. They can bring a lot of happiness, no doubt, but in order to be a healthy man women can't be my primary focus in life. Your post really hit home and I'm glad I'm learning this now while I still have my best years ahead of me. Thanks

I would say grab some coffee and walk around in a popular park/ shopping area/ something similar (just make sure it isn't dark out of course). I think a fancy dinner would be too much for a first date, plus walking around and observing things along the way can give you more opportunities to flirt with her than a dinner.

I usually approach girls and simply say something along the lines of "Hi, what's your name? I saw you just now and thought you looked really cute so I had to say hi" It really depends on the delivery, you have to be funny, lighthearted, and approachable.

If you're daygaming: Cold Direct Approach all day. There is nothing better than a direct approach. I can verify this firsthand. Stating your intentions from the beginning will do wonders weeding out the ones that aren't interested and will attract the ones that are. Social circle game: If you're at a party or club with a group, ask the girl to dance and try to escalate a bit on the dance floor (assuming you've talked to her before the venue). Try to isolate at the venue and then ask her for her …

I would personally pick the one that is I like the most & is the most receptive towards me. More of often than not, I make a move on the "hottie" of the group. I think most of my success comes from not being needy/ validation-seeking, I establish this by simply waiting for the right moment to make the move. You may not want to flirt with everyone within the group, especially if they all know one another, because you risk creating a bad reputation for yourself (unless you're just trying to get la…

No its not a bad thing but at the same time it's a shitty situation to be in because she's in complete control. The best thing to do is protect yourself because you might get your feelings hurt if she ends up not dating you. I would start by making sure the relationship/ initial dating is mostly on your terms. Be the one in charge and make sure you're not too emotionally invested. Don't over text her or take her out to expensive dinners thinking she will reward you with a relationship. Be conten…

You sound much more invested into her than she is with you. I think you should re-evaluate how much you like her and why. If you read the book Models by Mark Manson (which lays the foundations of what seddit is built on) it talks about how being over-invested is a bad thing that can hurt you in the long run. She knows you want more but she's not necessarily sure she does. Right now, the ball is in her court and she's the one in charge. If I was you I would try to become less invested in her beca…

I don't go to festivals but I'm sure it's not too different than game anywhere else. Once you "have game" it can be applied anywhere ..there aren't secret moves you can pull somewhere and not other places. And if there are "moves", most often it's just bs routines people make up and use as a crutch.

Honestly, I would just show my intentions right away and leave it up to her to decide if she wants to get to know me better. Right now, it sounds like she's sitting on the fence ..if you don't polarize her she'll end up losing interest. However, if she says she's not ready ..move on. You definitely wouldn't want to date someone who thinks they can hurt you. There are girls that will date guys even when all hell is breaking loose around them. If she says "now is not a good time" most often she is…

After hanging out, I would probably send her a text immediately after saying something fun/flirty. I would tease her about something on the date and keep things very lighthearted. Then I would tell her that I'll talk to her later (I may leave it open ended or actually tell her when I'll contact her again). I think this is the best way because it's putting you in the driver's seat and it's not clingy. You can text her later in the week to set up another date. The most important thing is to not ov…

The best way to gauge if someone likes you is by escalating. Always move the relationship forward ..if she's just being nice, she will eventually make her intentions clear by saying something like "let's just be friends". If she actually likes you, she will gladly go along with more intimate aspects of a relationship/dating.

Well I use IOIs when I can but I hate looking out for IOIs because it personally puts me in a validation seeking mindset. Right now I basically go up to girls I find interesting ..sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't

Ok buddy, do things your way and tell me how it works out. I frequently approach girls who don't give me IOIs and at worse they politely say they have a bf. Most girls are still more than happy to talk to me even without giving IOIs initially ..it's a validation boost for them so they don't mind the attention. Your attention/validation seeking mentality is much like a female's. But since you're clearly a master PUA I trust you know what you're doing.
/r/seduction15/06/15 09:14 PM

This is an inner game issue, not a looks/hygiene one. Shouldn't rely on IOIs btw ..you're drawing way too much validation from the girls that check you out. You don't need their approval.

It's probably not entirely your accent but most likely it's your mannerisms. I'm ethnically Indian as well and most Indians I know that were born overseas have a different way of speaking and communicating in general than those born in the US. I notice that Indians hardly smile when talking to others and are more stoic when speaking ..that can definitely turn a girl off. Try to fix that if it's a problem for you. Build up your inner game to the point where you have god-like outcome independence. Watch tons of RSD Tyler and some in-field day-game videos. Squattincassanova has a good collection of in-field Also change your frame of mind. When I'm day-gaming, I always have the mentality that I'm providing girls an experience that will have an positive impact on them. What girls don't want to get a dose of validation?
/r/seduction01/06/15 08:03 AM

My personal strategy: Whenever I have approach anxiety, I always take in down a notch. So if I'm trying to cold approach pickup ..i'll start opening the girls by asking for directions to someplace. Girls will almost always stop and give you direcitons as long as you're calibrated well ..so I know I'm going to have a pleasant interaction. After a few of these warm-up sets, I usually muster-up the courage to actually direct approach like I had initially set out to do.
/r/seduction01/06/15 07:56 AM

Read Models by Mark Manson ..this book will give you sage like advice. Also ..build up inner game by watching RSD videos and other PUA type of inner game content. Set a goal for yourself ..what exactly are you looking for? A long term relationship? Hookups? Finally and most importantly: Practice! Actually go out and talk to girls ..put into practice the things you've learned.
/r/seduction01/06/15 07:40 AM
2

The best advice I could give you is to practice direct cold approach. IMO, it's by far the best type of pick up ..the only time I wouldn't use it is in a group like setting. It works wonders on campus too. As for why you're not getting laid ..you probably have a fundamental flaw in how you're "seducing" these girls. You need to find that flaw and get rid of it. Do this by finding out where you're getting stuck and work out the kinks. Watch in-field videos and read Models by Mark Manson

Man I do see Indian guys complain a lot Haha you're right. I honestly think it's because our culture has completely different dating practices. I was born in the states, but from what I've heard ..the Indian culture has very little in terms of "seduction". I don't mean to generalize, but ...many Indian guys grow up focusing on school and careers and we try to apply the same logic when it comes to women ..but as we all know, it's a completely different ball game.

I would give it one more shot. Invite her to do something that you have fun doing ..don't ask her though, say it as a statement. Like "Hey I'm going ______, you should come with" If she says she's busy again, I would stop pursuing her
/r/seduction20/05/15 10:21 PM

"Hi ..I thought you looked cute so I had to meet you." Build your inner game then start practicing.
/r/seduction20/05/15 08:28 AM

I think most folks do this. I like reading pages out of Models and working on other inner game stuff before daygaming. I usually don't watch other folks game before I go out because I have my own style and what works for others may not work for me. But if I had to recommend something ...I would say any in-field daygame video by sqattincassanova on youtube. He seems like a fairly average guy (other than working out a lot) that has success ..so it kind of inspires me.

Girls love to talk, that doesn't necessarily mean she's super interested ..so I wouldn't read to much into her texting you a lot. Some girls even text/talk to guys with no intention of dating them simply because they like the attention. Are you being flirty or escalating a lot? I understand you made out with her before ..but that was done in a party setting with alcohol involved, you need to replicate that while sober. There's a million reasons there's a sudden change ..but the main cause of it …
/r/seduction20/05/15 08:02 AM

It's worked for me. I usually visualize myself approaching girls and making them smile & laugh. It helps me accomplish those goals. However ..you want to stay outcome-independent, so I'd advise against visualizing closing specific girls because it may create too much pressure to live up to that expectation.
/r/seduction20/05/15 05:53 AM

What's risky about it? There is literally nothing to lose other than hurting your esteem/ego In order to become successful at approaching women you like ..you gotta get that "risk" mentality out of your mind :)

For the last couple weeks she has been the one carrying the conversation, but now she seems off. Are you guys talking/texting daily? You might be making the classic mistake of being too available.
/r/seduction20/05/15 05:48 AM

I don't know about this. Women often drop the most subtle hints for just about everything dating/ hooking-up wise. I believe that if a girl wants to hookup, she'd make herself available to do so. They usually aren't the ones initiating unless they're very confident/forward.

For me the most hard hitting evidence was getting hold of a girls phone and looking through her texts. You'll get a clear picture of their promiscuous and validation seeking nature. Can you elaborate on this? What did you see? Honestly curious

When you cold-approach a girl it's recommended that you go direct, yes by saying "Hi I thought you looked cute and had to meet you". Sounds crazy right? But by doing this you sub-communicate that you're confident. Also, you'll actually come off as less invested since it's a bold way to talk to a girl ..it shows that you don't care about the outcome, you just had to meet her. Don't say your interested in her btw, at least not at the start. You can also be direct with your actions. Physically esca…

I'm not a huge fan of Julien and his "dark side" version of pickup. I checked out the trailers for SHIFT but it was too intense for me. If you really want to spend money on an event or program, I would choose Tyler or Max's stuff. They just seem more easy going and positive. But honestly you're probably better off saving that money and practicing in field or working on inner game.

I would say evening or even late night (assuming she's awake). I normally text when I'm free ..which happens to be at night.
/r/seduction14/05/15 04:29 PM

Personally, I only text to set up the logistics of the next date and then I stop. I do this knowing full well the girl wouldn't mind talking all day up to the date, but from my experience I know it's an attraction killer. My rule is to set up a date within 5 messages, unless I feel like I could escalate and be more direct through text (usually when I get her number in a less direct way). When you've set up a date, simply end the conversation and tell her you'll text her before the date.

Funny you mention this, the other day i was wondering why I was feeling so shitty and where my inner game went ..then I realized I was running on low sleep and stressed over finals. Of course I was going to feel like shit. Everything is related, good balance is needed to good inner & outer game.

Nice problem to have haha. It always happens when they are out of my vision. It's no coincidence, some girls don't want to be caught checking you out. I don't understand why would random guy, that I don't even know, do that? Why is he telling me this? He could go to girl himself, but he rather tells me... Probably just trying to help a brother out. You should approach the ones you're attracted to and continue to ignore the ones you don't

True confidence, non-neediness, and being less invested in her than she is with you is the holy-trinity of seducing a woman. This could be shown in many ways ..even by being vulnerable. You can say "I'm feeling lonely right now" but if it's said out of neediness then you've lost. If you say it as "matter of fact" and don't expect anything on her end, then it's fine and shows confidence. I'm not saying I'd recommend saying that ..in fact I think it's a terrible thing to say, but it could be fine …
/r/seduction13/05/15 05:23 AM

A simple hey whats up, and ask her out. No need to make it complicated. You're actually hurting yourself by trying to play it neutral.
/r/seduction13/05/15 05:14 AM
2

Maybe you need to polarize at the beginning of the interaction so she knows what your intentions are and doesn't pull the old "lets be friends" when you're escalating late into the interaction. Try to be direct from the beginning. Also ..you may need to be mindful of how much you are texting & being available for her. Being too available isn't good. It's hard to say what wrong without taking an in-depth look at your interactions but I hope this advice helps out.

Honestly man ..there isn't one magical sentence any of us can type to completely change your frame and boost your confidence. You need to begin to develop your inner game so stuff like this doesn't happen again. Obligatory: read Models, watch RSD videos , and practice cold-approaching. Godspeed.

Amuse yourself. Say what you think is funny. Talk about what you want to talk about. Draw her into your reality. Don't become overly-focused on impressing her. Create fun for yourself and you'll be a "fun guy"

Yes it probably means they're attracted to you. If I were you, I'd smile, say Hi, and start a conversation from there. You must look approachable haha, eye-contact to that extent isn't as common for me.

You can text them as a last ditch effort to see if there's an opportunity. Sure it won't be the ideal circumstance but it's better than being stuck thinking "What if".

The other iteration has a "nice guy" vibe to it. She'll think you're playing it too safe by being overly nice. Pays off to be a bit risky sometimes. Worse case, if she's offended, you can always re-calibrate and backtrack a bit.

I too have a ton of pages of notes, but they're just too esoteric to reference on the fly. I agree, there's tons of info out there and it's easy to forget crucial points. Your chart makes an awesome reference to glance at when you need a boost.

My understanding is that it's an educated guess or assumption about someone. Like if you playfully told a girl "You seem very outgoing". The idea is that it's a fun/flirty way to get a conversation going.

Don't look for validation. Provide your own value and simply be a value giver. When you meet a girl, or people in general, don't expect for them to make you feel better about yourself. Don't expect girls to check you out or hit on you ..instead, be the one looking to give value without expecting anything in return. True confidence comes from creating your own worth.

I had/have this exact same problem. I would meet hot girls and get their number, even go on dates ..but things would eventually die off before we made anything official. I would keep getting "You're a great guy ..but I'm not looking for a relationship". I was thinking wtf we're talking and everything is going great ..and all of a sudden everything comes to a grinding halt. If you're trying to hide that you're from SF/Bay Area, you didn't do a good job lol. I would say that you should stop focusing on race. I don't understand Indian women a whole lot either (I'm ethnically Indian as well) ..but I do know that they're caught between Indian values and American culture. That combo makes them become either super Americanized ( only dates white guys) or they hold onto Indian ways and think they're too good for the world. I'm on the same boat as you. I've met older women at lounges, clubs, and bars that cater to an older crowd. I've also met some out and about going about my day. The big problem is that most women have a problem getting involved with a younger guy ..still worth a try though.

Older girls (mid 20s) are attractive to me. I would say a "prime age" would be around 21 (just me being shallow) but older girls often have more personality and can actually hold a decent conversation.

Older girls are more mature and stable in my opinion. I think all girls are quick to talk about themselves no matter the age haha. I have noticed that older girls are "bored" but I like that since I don't have the energy to entertain a young chick. I'm in my early 20s but act and talk like I'm much older ..I think that's why I connect with older girls more. They usually tell me that I'm super mature for my age. Tell her that you don't like that behavior because it's hurtful. If it's something that's out of her control then maybe you two aren't very compatible. If you really want to make it work ..try couples counseling or something similar.

Look at her and feel the attraction. Don't hide it, don't be apologetic about it. Once you've become okay with the idea of conveying your intentions and expressing your sexuality ..the touching will become more or less natural. It won't feel weird ..you'll kind of know what to do since your body isn't getting held back by your mind.

I'm opposite ..I get attraction from girls older than me almost consistently. It's weird ..girls my age and younger are too immature and high maintenance imo. Good thing about older girls is that they've had their share of experiences and are looking for someone more grounded. I would say be more genuine. Girls' "player" alarm goes off when you can cold approach them confidently ..add some vulnerability to counter-act that. Also try to insta-date when possible. If you can't insta-date, then date close ..basically try to set up a casual date with her for the next day and switch numbers for logistics purposes. The venue might come into question too. Best answer so far. If you go out of your way to entertain them ..you risk coming off as desperate. Self-amusing does wonders ..the girls will see that you're having fun and will want to join in. People forget that classic pickup advice (DHV and the sort) is just a fool's shortcut into acting like a man of true confidence. I can almost guarantee you that no matter how you look ..there are girls who will find you attractive. Women perceive attraction differently than men. Us guys could spot a girl and tell you in a second if we'd like to have sex with her ..girls must experience a deeper level of attraction, they need an emotional bond of some sort. Not necessarily true. It's okay for a guy to compliment a girl as long as he doesn't do it out of neediness. Basically he shouldn't expect anything in return by complimenting or validating her. Have you ever ignored a girl and she ended up trying to get your attention all night? I can flirt and draw attraction from girls I'm not interested in easily This is probably because you don't give a shit how they perceive you. You act how you want to and basically amuse yourself. When girls see you like this, they know that you aren't looking for their validation ..which makes you more attractive in their eyes. as soon as I want to pursue a girl, my game is practically nonexistent Probably because you're more invested in them. Imagine being around a girl you've been dating for years. You can make great eye contact, smile, flirt, and touch her confidently because you two have an established relationship. You're sub-communicating your confidence, intentions, and sexual charisma without even saying a word. That is how you should try to act around a girl you're approaching. Right, that's the big difference in each school of thought. Julien embraces being a dick and it translates to his game; which in turn attracts a certain type of girl. If the goal is F-closing any and every hot chick ..I guess it's fine to change your game to tailor to each girl you meet. My problem is that you're basically trying to conquer the bitchy girl as a form of your own form validation. But that may be okay with Julien or anyone who practices his type of seduction.

I'm glad you asked this question because I've been wondering about it since watching the "reveal" video they posted today. At one point in the video they said something along the lines of: a common delusion guys have is that they can't handle the "bitchy" girls and only want to talk to the ones that are receptive to "nice" behavior. Basically they're saying to not shy away from the "bitchy" girls that respond to douchey treatment. This is in direct disagreement with Mark Manson's advice where it…

If you feel they're into you ..escalate. I would ask the girl if she would like to accompany me to a bar/ club, then I would do normal escalation and see where it goes. Models takes a very mature perspective into seduction. I bought the book a few days ago and I'm only 60 pages in but it seems great so far. It's advice is very different than classic seduction stuff. I'm still trying to buy into his system.

Yes, classic pickup books/material is still relevant. Their methods work but should only be used as "training wheels" until you can accomplish the same things without the canned material. I like Models because it's very practical and genuine. Old-school/classic seduction stuff is more for people who do this more as a hobby (which is fine, nothing wrong with that either).

Well ..basically absorb any and all seduction/ self-improvement material out there. The book "Models" by Mark Manson is probably one of the best seduction related literature out there. Real Social Dynamics has amazing inner game videos on youtube. Yes, approaching ones I actually like gets me in the "zone", compared to approaching ones that I'm not super attracted to but just doing it for experience. Also I wanted to add that as we gain experience, we tend to expect greater results in a short amount of time. Forget results for now and become happy with the process and you'll have to urge to continue approaching.

Don't forget to talk to other girls in the meantime. Don't be overly concerned with this one girl, you need abundance for her to be attracted to you (or to be an attractive person in general).

Well you're going to have to talk to her a few times (or one long conversation) to build some rapport before you make big moves. It's pretty difficult since she's working every-time so it may be difficult to chat her up for 10-15 mins to get her comfortable with the idea of attending a social event. It's a tough one. You don't want to overstep boundaries and make her uncomfortable, especially if she's telling the truth. Maybe you can befriend her (disqualify yourself) and invite her to a social event where there's the possibility you can get to know her better. Play the long game if you can.

Well you did the right thing by expressing your true opinions. Maybe she was making small talk and did not realize that there was a potential to create attraction since it was a classroom setting. Yes that's what I think. However, it may not be game over for you just yet. Next time you go, she how she acts around you. She may have said that as a knee-jerk reaction and didn't mean it. Keep your options open, maybe she actually is single like what TSY420 said

What helped me begin approaching in public is realizing that "this is just practice" and "majority of these girls are actually happy that I approached even if they end up rejecting me". The "it's just practice" mindset helps you become less outcome dependent because it doesn't matter if she rejects you or not, what matters is that you approached and had a quality interaction. What should I do? If I approach her and state my intentions, it will be very obvious that I like her mostly because of her looks. It's difficult to straddle the line between friendzoning myself and coming off too direct.
/r/seduction25/04/15 08:01 PM

It's not the whole reason I wanted her number but was a big part of it. The reason I said she was cute was because I wanted to be clear with my intentions ..otherwise she could have gotten the impression that I was just being friendly not necessarily pursuing something more. Maybe I could start doing what shatteredcell said and befriend them initially. I could escalate within the friendship to make my intentions clear.

There's another piece but I'll keep it short and sweet: If you're attractive, they think you're a player, and they don't want to be played. Make sense? I think he was asking if I'm attractive because he thinks girls might think I'm a player when I talk to them.

Even if I can't make friends right away, how do I find girls? Start practicing direct cold approach. Cold approach in high frequency areas during the day and at bars/clubs at night. Go out as often as possible and start approaching at all kinds of venues. If people start asking why you're alone simply explain that you're new to the area and would like to meet interesting people. RSD definitely can have the "fraternity bro" vibe to it at times. I usually watch RSDTyler's videos on youtube, his stuff isn't as polarizing in my opinion. So the best daygame technique is "direct cold approach". All "close minded" means is that it takes more for a person to be comfortable around someone or something. You can still create comfort with cold approach. Many women I approach this way get very surprised by my initial opener (Which is good, I want to polarize them), but when I start to joke around with her and build rapport ..that's when she starts to break of her "shell". In my opinion ..I think she's using you as an emotional crutch. Women do this when they're dating someone who isn't emotionally available. As you can see, men get over it faster than women do. Not universally, of course, but men are more comfortable being single than women are. This is where the myth of "commitment-phobic" men comes in. For men, advances in one's relationship are emotionally expensive, each step more costly than the next. For women, it is effectively a status change. I'm not sure if I read this correctly. Is this comment suggesting that women have a harder time breaking up because they no longer have the "taken" st…

Ok I was in a very similar boat as you're in, even down to the part where you used to approach and then stopped. Here's how to get good quick: 1) Inner game. Read all the game content you can find. RSD has some really good vids on this subject. They've made videos on every aspect on inner game and it's helped me immensely. After inner game is taken care of, things become much easier. 2) Find a winning formula. I couple years ago I tried day-gaming on campus but got nowhere. I changed up the proc…

That's true. I didn't have it in me to do a strong push, it may have messed up the interaction anyway. Now I just need to become outcome independent and trust in the process. Since I've only tried this on one girl, I don't have tons of success stories from this yet to reference. Any tips on becoming outcome independent?

The problem is usually how to build that first attraction before starting pushing and pulling. So I've come to the realization that when you're gaming girls that you will be around for a while (not cold approach) the best way to build attraction is if they see you having a ton of fun without them and being in the presence of other girls. This is where classic game works best. Find your target, open her group but ignore her for the most part. She should begin becoming very curious as to why you'r…

I was hoping someone would answer this for me. I think the mistake I made was that I should have begun planning a date with her and only ask for a number to work out logistics/keep in touch. Like saying "Hey I gotta run, but we should grab some coffee tomorrow at 2 and continue this conversation" Her "Ok" Me "Sweet, well lets exchange numbers so we can keep in touch" I was also thinking about saying something like: "Oh but it's ok to swap numbers at a club or bar with a guy when he's probably dr…

Thanks man ..I was very surprised that she was so receptive. Guess it goes to show that girls being interested is arbitrary at times. I'm probably going to message her with a "push". She mentioned she's really into social justice ..so I was planing on poking some fun at her about that (hope she doesn't get offended but whatever). And yes, can't wait to get back out there and do it again.

Yikes ..they don't seem shy about denying you. If you push correctly it will come off as a playful tease, if they begin to walk away then you didn't calibrate correctly and came off too strong. In theory, you could do it soon into the interaction ..but it will come off as kinda awkward since you two just met (unless you can play it off). Now I was never in the Greek society or whatever it's called, but sorority chicks always seemed snobby. You're probably better off getting to know them and disq…

Sometimes girls use guys for emotional availability. She probably needed someone to talk to and you filled that void. After a week she decided that she had her fun and then stopped. A very similar experience happened to me a few times in my life which propelled me into learning about game.

Always be escalating. Look up DiCarlo's Escalation Ladder. Next time, offer a massage and one thing will hopefully lead to another. There's nothing to be scared about. She came home with you so I'm sure she was up for something. If you try to put a move on her and she denies, just laugh it off and try again later. Relax and have fun.

You genuinely love her and you're not even in an official relationship with her? And to make it worse she's not even sure if she wants to be in a relationship with you? Dude you've skipped the pedestal and put her on Mt.Everest. Start cold-approaching. Text them and go out on dates with them, otherwise it would be very tough to create any abundance and snap you out of that neediness. If you're a man of value ..a girl would be lucky to have you. You have to have that kind of mentality. Anyways th…

I wished you mentioned more of what your conversation was like with the girls. All I heard was kino this and that. It sounds like you're doing a lot of pulling and not enough pushing. Tease them more and disqualify yourself (basically say something like .."you're funny ..I would totally take you out if you were my type" Keep them guessing. Don't have to push for a close right away because it sounds like you see them often and you'll have plenty of opportunities. Also don't drink too much when yo…

You're going about this backwards. It's true that eye contact is an indicator of interest ..but usually the girl will initiate this, not you (unless you're cold approaching). You're seeking validation from them by looking for eye contact. It sounds to me that you're at the very beginning of your journey. I would suggest reading the sidebar, read recommended books, and watch some vids on pick up and inner game. Oh and practice, practice, & practice!

I would have texted her an inside joke the same night after the date. And then wouldn't text her again until I'm ready to plan out the next date. If it's already planned out, then maybe text her the day before or the day of the date to confirm. Whatever you do, don't be overly-available & clingy.

Talk about her. Ask her where she's from, if she goes to school or works, what her nationality is (tastefully), what hobbies she has ...etc. After you've run out of small talk, talk about something deeper and more passionate. I personally use: "So I have a personal philosophy. I think that beauty is very common and doesn't necessarily make someone stand out. What qualities do you have that makes you unique?" This is good because now she's gonna spend the next 5 minutes convincing you why she's i…

"Hello, hope this isn't being too forward ..but you're cute and I just had to come and say hi!" Always go direct. Indirect openers are good if you're not in state, but direct is always better. Why? Because it helps you screen out the girls who don't like you and are only sticking around because you've asked them a question. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iIrbuwUw6aI

This is what I would have done: When you're getting her number, text her your name right away while you're standing right in-front of her. Then tell her you will contact her in a week to set up the first date. Text her a week later only to catch up a small amount and figure out logistics of the date. Tell her you'll talk to her later. Text her the day before or day of the date to confirm (Say something like: "I'm running 5 minutes late ..just wanted to give you a heads up.) Setting it up like th…

Didn't know any of that ..thanks for sharing! One more question. What's a good date to plan if I'm trying to escalate/sexualize things? Bar/Club? Dates that I've gone on before were playing it way too safe. Hardly got intimate in those venues.

Good points. Next day date seems a bit eager ..but if you're having an intense conversation/flirtation, you might be able to pull of a day 2 the next day without a sense of neediness. Ok one more question. What's a good date to plan if I'm trying to sexualize things? Club/bar? My problem is I keep setting up dates during the day at a restaurant or something and I hardly get to share intimacy with her there.

I think the day before rule sounds good. Does this work for women in their early 20s who are used to constant communication? Also, if I set a date for a couple weeks away or longer ..is it a good idea to check in with her at least once before? Or is it the same as what you said before?

I don't see it that way. If a girl I don't know opened me , cracked funny jokes and teased me, I would be super impressed and would think highly of her. In fact, if she can talk to me this way ..she can talk to anyone else. This girl must have options! Better hang out with her quick. lol ..lots of ways to frame this stuff man

I'm new to game so take my advice with a grain of salt. I would say to get her to qualify to you if you don't want to look desperate. Open and later on in the conversation ask her what qualities she has that would make her different from everyone else. Keep teasing her about things and make sure you don't put her on a pedestal. Just because you made the initial effort doesn't mean she's won you over already (even though that may be the case, just don't make it obvious). Also, most girls are impr…

If you absolutely can't gain weight, then no worries. It's all good. Everyone here, myself included, has things that we wish we could change about our physical appearances. For me, it's that I'm below average height ..I'm 5ft 8in probably more like 5ft 7in though. Sometimes it bugs me but then I remember that it hasn't really gotten in my way when it comes to girls. I've had many girls who were taller than me that were interested despite my size. Own your weight, make it part of your identity. E…

I might not be the best person to take advice from because I'm new to this stuff ..but here goes. Don't be super available. Don't text her all day and night. Don't call her everyday. Don't agree to every little thing she says ..have your own opinion on things. Don't stop talking to other women unless you guys become official (having abundance is an important tool). Take the lead on planning things. Flirt with her more ..touch her more. Take her out to a bar/club setting where you can possibly da…

My honest opinion: When you treat someone bad, it's usually coming from a bad place within your own self. If you were unhappy ..that's what you would spread to others. If you were happy ..you would create happiness among those you associate with.

Great advice man, thank you. I'm gonna add this into what I'm currently doing. I'm actually thinking about beginning with a direct opener to filter out ones who definitely don't want anything to do with me.

Suggestions on getting herself to qualify to me? " I think beauty is common, there are beautiful women everywhere nowadays ..what qualities do you have that makes you unique from everyone else out there in the crowd?" (say it with passion or she'll think you're bullshitting) I would also say to disqualify yourself initially to get her attention but you can't really do that if you're already on a date. PUA theory is nothing more than breaking down natural game. once you have the mindset right, your actions will flow. There's nothing to memorize. There's no trying, you just do it naturally. That I can agree with

Wait so sitting at a mall all day so women notice you is less time wasting than talking to a couple girls on your way to class? I fail to see how that makes sense. You can spend hours at the mall so one girl "notices" you while I can talk to much more in that same time span. Also, attraction isn't permanent ..what's to say these girls stop giving a shit after the 20th time seeing you? You're right, I'm not naturally sociable. It takes me a while to warm up ..just like 90% of other guys. I'm a na…

First off, well done on what you were able to do. I would say, after the bar try to change venue to a club or someplace where you can dance with her to sexualize the date. Plenty kino, escalate, get her to qualify to you. Umm ..maybe offer a massage at home to lead into the act. Idk good results for a 2 week span though.

Right, unfortunately not building enough attraction can lead to not getting a number or getting flaked on if you do get it. Either way, it's a numbers game and I've got to begin trying harder and being more ballsy to get some results.

Push/ Pull my friend. When I open it's usually a pull, I'm showing that that I'm initially interested. Then I start talking to her friend instead and she wonders why I'm not begging at her feet (push). I come back to her and remark that she has a cool style (pull) but then I disqualify myself by saying that hipsters aren't my type (push). This has a similar effect of chillin at the club not approaching her because even though you approached her she will wonder why you're talking to other folks a…

I can do this as a last-ditch effort. Problem is that I'm not staying in set long enough to build any real rapport and attraction. I've actually never even attempted a day game number close yet ..maybe it will become less of a big deal for me after a few attempts.

since i feel a relationship should have at least some background to start with, dating just from randomly meeting someone shouldnt be the goal. i believe the goal of cold approaching is to numb the feelings of rejection. You're missing out on a lot of good opportunities with this outlook in my opinion. I also believe that running game on a girl isn't very "genuine" but I believe the connection established from that interaction can be very real. I know you had a different question but I had to pu…

Smiling is one of the biggest tools you have to get a positive reaction from those around you and girls will most definitely notice. When you're smiling, it shows that you're comfortable in your own skin and having fun. People will want to talk to you to get in on that fun! Smirks work too but to a lesser extent. Obviously it would like kinda weird if you had a full smile the entire time you're in a venue but try to do it as often as possible without coming off as if you're trying too hard. I us…
