Greetings. Some of you may have heard similar advice to this but hopefully I can reach those of you that haven't fully ingrained these ideas into your lifestyle.
I want to talk about sales and products. Anyone with experience in the market knows that the better your product, the easier it is to sell. Apple didn't have to try very hard to sell the first iPhone; demand was so high that it sold itself. The product was leagues ahead of the competition at the time. On the other hand, smaller, less powerful companies had to put more focus into advertising and sales to get their products out as they were generally inferior to the iPhone, making the demand much lower.
If you don't already see where this is going, allow me to explain.
There are two main schools of thought when it comes to seduction: (Outer) Game vs. Inner Game. Lines, routines, strategies, etc. vs. personal growth and development. "Mystery Method" vs. "Models". You know the two.
Most seduction material, especially early material such as "Mystery Method" or even "The Game", is geared towards teaching us how to be better salespeople. The product is the self and we are selling that product to attractive women for various reasons. Early material and a lot of less mature material is based almost solely on becoming a better salesman. There are countless books, ebooks, websites, articles, etc. riddled with lines, routines, gimmicks, strategies, and all manner of techniques to sell your product to an attractive woman. This can sometimes work. Great salesman can definitely get away with selling poor products. The unfortunate side of this, however, is that usually the buyers are rather dumb.
Inner Game, on the other hand, is the school of seduction focused mostly on personal development, improvement, and growth. We are making ourselves a better product so we don't have to do as much selling. We are upgrading from our old flip phone to the iPhone. Books like "Models" and "The Way of the Superior Man" are focused on becoming more intrinsically valuable so that women (customers) are drawn to you (the product) naturally. This way, you don't have to work very hard on selling your product.
Personally, I believe that life is better in all regards when we focus our efforts on self-improvement as it relates to intrinsic value. If we can create phenomenal products, we won't need to do sales. You won't need to memorize all the fancy lines, gimmicks, and routines if women are drawn to everything you are. This isn't to say that learning the sales techniques is unhelpful; great salesman can do astronomically well if they're also selling great products. The problem I see too often in this community is that too many people are stuck just learning the sales and not doing any product development. Too many young guys are spending all their time reading lines and routines when instead they could be reading real books that would make them more interesting, intelligent people. It doesn't hurt to practice sales, but even brilliant salesmanship can only go so far when working with a poor product. Develop yourself. Read books, listen to podcasts, exercise, and eat real food. Become the iPhone; stop trying so hard to sell the flip phone.
TL;DR: Focus on making yourself legitimately interesting and attractive rather than learning lines to make girls think you are interesting and attractive.
P.S. I typed this up in a sleepy, post-work delirium. Feel free to comment on what I can improve in a positively critical fashion if you feel it is necessary. Let me know if you got any value from this or if there's something else you'd like to hear about. I want to start doing more research and posting a little more often, but I want to know what you guys are interested in reading. Cheers
