What if nobody knows how wonderful you are?

What if you are wonderful only in the eyes of your mom?

You need to communicate to the world your value, and you need external validation that your mom is right.

Otherwise, you'll be a solitary piece of hard wood (pun intended).

I really think you're over thinking this. Nonetheless, you could use this "I am the prize" mindset to think of yourself as giving the gift of... yourself to a girl while direct approaching her. Look at it as if she's the one who's lacking YOU so you decide to do her a wonderful favor and introduce yourself since the poor girl obviously doesn't know what she's missing out on. That's the mindset I use. Criticize it all you want, shit works for me and that's all I care about.
