Having trouble a) asking girls out without immense qualification b) approaching girls to begin with.

Huge cognitive dissonance here. I know it sounds a bit silly, but if a guy is truly valuable then he shouldn't need to put in effort, right? Does a guy who is truly 'the prize' really chase after girls in day game?

I know this mindset isn't right, but if anyone has any ideas on a "workaround", which maintains the "prize" mindset while still showing active interest... that would be awesome. I'm effective once I have a girls number, but I'm not getting too many of those lately due to self-imposed restraint to preserve 'value'.
