Thinking back I was really on one that night because I don't say slick shit like that often but this corny innuendo actually worked lol. I've heard that talking about sex is a step away from having it and in this case it turned out to be true.

If you’re sounding immature or childish about sexual topics that’s a YOU problem and you should look at why you can’t take the topic more seriously without giggling through it.

If you’re wanting to show more sexual energy through conversation without being overtly direct, the use of insinuation and misinterpretation go a long way.

You need to watch how Craig Ferguson introduces sex into conversations with his female guests. He uses euphemisms and innuendos in a playful and fun way, always leaving himself a way out by laughing and pretending he didn’t mean it—or just saying, “Sorry, it was a joke! Okay!” and then laughing it off and moving on. It’s all about timing and delivery.

I love when he introduces a completely random, normal topic that can be sexualized and makes his guest delve into it, only to then say, “Are we still talking about [topic]?” or “Hang on! None of that was about [topic]!” with a smirk on his face. You could use this approach as an opportunity to playfully tease her while also showing that you’re comfortable talking about sex in a relaxed and fun manner—how it should be handled in escalation, in my opinion.

I wouldn’t recommend introducing it in a more formal way, though—it could come across as weird, and she might think you’re a creep. Why would you be talking about sex before having it? I mean, it’s something you could discuss with friends, but definitely not with someone you’re interested in, especially if it hasn’t happened yet. It could get really awkward!
