When the class ends, 4 days a week, we exit and every day I wind up walking behind her for a little while (like a minute or two), but I've never talked to her or anything. So today I decided to try and chat her up a little bit. Actually, I decided two days ago that I was going to approach her, so I spent a whole day trying to think of how to do it. Well, by the time I thought about all that and sat through our excruciatingly boring class, when the time came I was so frickin nervous that I couldn't even hardly breathe. I approached anyway, though, and it totally freaked her out.

My question is: should I keep trying to talk to her until we both get used to the situation, or should I just back off and leave her alone? Once you freak a girl out, is the whole thing doomed forever?
