i’ve been in this situation

literally just text her “hey”

let her respond

she’ll probably throw tests at you like “what do u want.” “why are u texting me.” or something dismissive

don’t get bothered & brush em off in an amused way

tell her you thought of her or thought of something you guys did together (not sex related yet, trust me) and wanted to see her, then ask if she’s free on (whatever day ur free)

if yes, tell her where to meet at what time. throw in the idea of coming to your place afterwards in a subtle way.

if no, just say “okay” & try again a bunch of months later

there’s no secret code, it really depends on what you checking up on her will make her feel & then capitalizing on it

ignore the past and pretend it’s something completely new and exciting, leaving a lot of mystery

Dealing with borderlines is a pretty dangerous game, they may hardly mess with your emotions and brain without blink of an eye. If you keep that in mind and keep your frame at all times, you may find common ground. They usually prefer hard style of escalating a relation and solid conversations.
