Do not ask *a couple of* questions *with witty humour*. One only, not necessarily with the most convoluted humour, even not necessarily tied to her profile, will do the job. Let the conversation flow a bit more as you send 1-2 more texts.

Then, suggest the date. You can say something relatively general like "Drinks?" before giving more details (meeting at time T at place P) once she accepts. Have these details in mind. After the date is set, you might ask for the number if you want but I do not recommend if you already asked questions a lot. At best, she might be the one asking for your number. At worst, if the date is a failure, you will skip having another useless contact in your phone.

Girls mostly use dating apps for validation. Many have no intentions of ever seeing you they just like knowing the fact that they can. Many use it for attention as well. Try meeting a woman in real life, dating apps are a waste of time tbh

I use both, thought tinder has dried up recently, bumble continue to give good leads.

I use it to get dates. From there I see where things go. I am mostly interested in casual relationships, but willing to commit to the right thing. I never try to go straight to talking sleeping with them, and outside the rare occasionally, the first date is always more of a screen than something that will end up in the bedroom. Second dates tho, that's where it's at.
