37M, literally thousands of approaches, #-closes, k-closes, f-closes: IME, it's less about the opener and more about what comes after. Ive opened with things from classic James Bond smoothness to some of the most outlandish shit you can imagine (I once approached a girl with "All I need is three hours, some baby oil, and a straw, and I promise you'll fall in love with me!" and f-closed). Thr success lies not in how you open, but in how you transition and escalate. "HI" can end in f-close. "I would love to see you naked and moaning by midnight" can too, its all in where you go from there.

Your state is much more important than your opener. I usually open with 'Hi, my name is'. If you are in a bad state whatever the cleverness of the opener you'll get rejected.

I think a lot of guy here should learn positive psychology. Because we almost all start alone and depressed and you just can't transform in one day.

The lectures of Tal Ben-Shahar are very efficient for that matter, much more easy and useful that Mark Manson's Models. It's not directly about seduction, but if you follow and apply it, you'll quickly and naturally be much more happier, which is a huge step to seduction.

What is genuinely on all guys minds is intimacy, it's evolutionary biology, reptilian brain. What it sounds like is you don't want to put in the time or work man, there are no shortcuts except on rare occasions. This 'work' and 'impatience' gets reduced significantly when you have abundance. TECHNICAL ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION - As an experienced guy I tell my students all the time 'the field holds all TRUTH'. Do each type 100s of times, document, monitor how it goes, slightly adjust - rinse, wash, repeat. But being authentic to who you are i.e. if your going with traditional actually open with something authentic not a line.

In my limited experience, non openers "would you like to come home with me?" tend to have a much lower closing rate than more traditional openers.
