I haven't seen a good guide on Tinder with things I've learned so here ya go.

WHAT IS IT: An app for the iPhone that uses your facebook pictures and finds women/men in your area within your age and mile radius settings

If you have a facebook and a phone you are good to go. It does not post anything to facebook and last names are not used so no worries there. The app will load girls in your area and show you 5 or so pictures, you can swipe right for yes and left for no. It is completely anonymous and you only know if someone "liked" you if you also liked them, which opens up a message box for you to chat.

MY STRATEGY: I boot the app up a few times daily and then swipe EVERY GIRL RIGHT, EVERYONE!. I do not even look at their faces or profiles just all right. When I come to a match I will then review their profile and choose to start a convo or block them. This strategy works because it eliminates the accidental swiping of a girl left (which blocks her), saves a lot of your time as you only review the profiles of girls that like you, and doesnt get you attached to girls that might dislike you.

PICTURES The app loads your 5 newest profile pics, you can change them but the app has been very buggy recently with photos though. Unfortunately you have to be very good looking, it is the name of the game for Tinder. I chose some of me in nice clothes, one at the beach, and a face shot (covered all my bases).

OPENING Wait an hour or so after the match to message her or him, its like everything else, dont be needy I am not in the school of thought to have ridiculous openers to girls, its cringeworthy to me. I have two go-tos "hey how are you" and "I've got a question for you" they always work. Its that simple. I live in a college town with a million bars so the "I've got a question for you" line is immediately segwaying into asking the girl for drinks downtown, all business.

MESSAGING: Refer to this just use basic text game its not rocket surgery. Ill chat for maybe 6 or so lines and then give the girl my number and say text me y'all are creative and can figure out ways to do it but ALWAYS give the girl your number and get the fuck off tinder chat. The same rules apply for setting up dates, text a little and meet in person ASAP.

LOCATION Like I said, I live in a college town so I'll always meet her at a bar. i find that bars are your best bet as its public, there is lots of people, and you barely know this girl so you're not investing anything and you can bounce if need be.

WHERE TO TINDER Anywhere obviously, but I always do it at the gym and downtown. Do it where you have interests (say the park or hiking) and you will have a greater chance of meeting women that you share interests with. When I am downtown I will from time to time pull it out and set my radius to 1 mile and if i have a match and just say "Hey I'm at X bar wearing this, come over" it works from time to time but focus on your actual in life game, dont be a dude on your phone at the bar.

HOW IT HELPS YOUR OVERALL GAME: I have pretty bad AA, when I'm in a group its fine but cold approaching is a bitch for me, because I'm a bitch. Tinder eliminates that and you can practice lines and just talking with A LOT of girls. It has improved my text game and boosted my confidence.
