Confidence = I have faith and trust in myself/ability.

Arrogance = I have MORE faith and trust in myself/ability than you.

Be confident, but dont think you're better than others.

I saw someone on this subreddit describe confidence, I am paraphrasing, as “the ability to know that you will be fine despite the outcome” and I totally love it. I figured it was knowing that you will succeed, which always felt weird since you don’t totally control most outcomes.

Confidence is when you know you're good enough.

Arrogance is when you need other people to know you're good enough

Don't overthink this. It's fluid. Attractive person may act like some asshole egoist and be perceived confident, while someone less attractive doing something mider will be called arrogant.

Stop worrying how others see you and learn how to fend for yourself.

If you are struggling with girls there are much much more important areas to focus than this.

Don't think you're better than anyone. Someone who is confident will know when to have some humility. Someone who is arrogant will keep pumping themselves up regardless of circumstance.

I once read that a warrior understands when to use force and how much to use. That is confidence. Arrogance is trying too hard when it's not necessary. Confidence requires finesse. Arrogance requires a heavy hand. One leaves a mess and the other gets the job done neatly.
