25 hardcaser here, just got my first sober kiss few days ago. Honestly my intention was rather to kiss her on cheek, but to my surprise she turned her face towards mine and we kissed lips. I expected that a girl will either reject my kiss, or if she goes for it it will be somewhat serious. Instead, she just pecked/nibbled my lips and then backed off, it lasted maybe 1-2 seconds. I tried again after few minutes and it went exactly the same. I'm a bit confused now, is it normal for a first kiss to be like this? I know that as a guy ideally I should be the one to stop the kiss, so maybe it's better to always go for quick, closed lips kiss at the beginning? Or maybe she just noticed how bad kisser I am and that's why...

I'm a bit depressed about it now, how many dates will i have to screw up before i learn to kiss properly?
