Do people really approach in bars?

In bars? All the time. But you’re usually never worried about those guys who do so you don’t notice it.

Daygame it is definitely rare, though if you see a confident guy go up and chat a pretty girl it’s actually inspirational.

Most likely spots that this happens is at coffee shops, libraries, transit, inner cities, diner-like restaurants, convention centers, parks. Go to these places and you might notice some guys there who do it...and guess what? It could be you too

There are some cultural differences that i've seen this sub ignore. As you say, most here are from the US so don't really understand.

You say you're in Europe. Me too. It DOES happen (in bars), but it's not like in the US where there is a bigger culture of talking to strangers in general. Also things like 'singles bars' and stuff. Slightly more of a 'hook up' culture.

I often feel i'm just about the only person in my town making approaches, lol. And it IS hard, because, as you say, it's just full of social circle groups. Trying to worm your way into another group is rough. People don't want some stranger getting involved in their group fun, and I don't necessarily blame them. About 98% of 'approaches' happen after midnight in clubs on the dancefloor. This is when it becomes socially acceptable/normal

As for daygame! haha. I promise that if I go out now and approach some random girl at a coffee shop or something, i'm confident i'd likely be the first person in my town to have done it this year!! Outside of London that is full of tourists, it just doesn't happen

You don’t see approaches because most approaches are executed well. Even if they aren’t it’s VERY hard to actually catch a cold approach at the right moment to know exactly what happened. Usually what you see are a guy and a girl are talking and you automatically assume they know each other well or for a long time.

Girls are being approached all the time in bars everywhere.

I never see it too except for that one time I approached 2 girls. After getting rejected I see some idiot smiling at me from the other side. With a lot of confidence he then goes to the girls and gets rejected too. He went back to his friends and they left the bar afterwards

I'm in Asia, I dislike bars that have seats. Standing bars are much easier to approach in. It might be the bars you go to.
