Do you have Interests? I've connected with ladies on various topics - games>RPG>MMO>MOBAS, TV Shows, Movies, Careers and even Makeup (Like giving them props on how well it looks on them).

I find that I connect fastest with the girls I can make laugh. Once you can get them to laugh it seems the connect part has taken place. It happens sooner or later. Have you noticed any particular exchanges you felt you were natural in? Kino plays a more vital role also, so if you can get them to talk with interest, laugh and Kino you are pretty much in the right pocket for a strong connection.
