Cat/string theory. Float a string above a cat's head and what does she do? She'll try to catch it. If you've ever tried this you'll know that it's quite amusing, but what happens if you let her catch that string? Just drop it on the ground so that she can have it? Even if you've never tried this I think you can guess what will happen. She'll quickly get bored of it, because it's not about the string it's about catching the string. So what do we do? We never stop being that string. This guy was in an established relationship, see how little that matters? NEVER stop being that string.
