Video Context: Attending a private university with 10,000+ students. Protests over police brutality formed around one of our biggest University monuments, the "Clock Tower". Once the video cuts we chat a bit more, I walk her to her meeting, and get her number.

Texting Context: A lot of inside jokes from the interaction are used, and since the video cut early some of the jokes might not be apparent. Inside jokes within the texts, and what the video missed; I'm an Arab, she's on the track team, she's constantly late (as are Arabs), we're both business majors, and she made a comment asking if I always pick up strangers on the street. Also apparently I caught her in her worst condition, no makeup after waking up from a nap.

Hopefully this inspires us Sedditors to increase the quality of our posts and leads to more beneficial field reports in the future.
