Here is a thought exercise: what if you feeling "bummed" is not the result of, but the cause of, your rejection? I know that seems to defy the rules of causality, but hear me out.

The fact that you are "bummed" by your rejection suggests that you were unduly emotionally invested in the outcome of your pick-up. Women are finely tuned to detect a man's level of emotional investment, and too much too soon comes across as neediness, and it repulses them.

Better to have a devil-may-care attitude to pick-up. Women read this as self-confidence and self-sufficiency, and they are attracted to it. This is not to say that you should feign disinterest or "act cool", but be mindful about expecting too much from any given approach. The weight of your expectations is burdensome to your target.

I'm kinda bummed.

It happens. Don't dwell on it. Go out and practice some more. That will make you forget about her real quick.

Don't get attached to anyone in preliminary stages of sarging. Once you get to know her well, then decide if you want to get attached or not.

Dude, you're looking at this the wrong way. You're supposed to view rejections as a success. Pick up is a numbers game, in the beginning you're supposed to get way more rejections than numbers. This is so you get over your AA.

Next time you go sarging, think to yourself, I'm going to go out and get 5 rejections tonight. That way, you'll be more relaxed during the set, as you know that getting blown out is no big deal.
