When going on a first date with someone, personally I like to go for a more low key bar or lounge that does not play insanely loud music all night so that I cannot even here myself think. I would like the place to be nice and casual with a good vibe, somewhere we can grab a table and have a conversation over a drink. I wouldn't like to go to the most popular place in town because then it would be too packed, drinks would take forever, we would have to scream at each other to communicate and there would be a ton of distractions.
