lol if you can barely talk to other people, you're not going to find much success suddenly beginning to talk to women. There isn't much advice here for you besides just go say hi and say whatever. You might fail, you might succeed, but the experience is a good start. Go speak to many people in all sorts of settings, not just women
I have zero social skills
This isn't what an introvert means. This is beyond being an introvert, you are not socially intelligent and likely are not emotionally intelligent.

"How to talk to girls" gets asked multiple times a week on this sub. What are you expecting if you haven't done a drop of research for yourself? Someone can solve a problem of that magnitude in a paragraph?

I don't get these comments, I don't have much emotion so low emotional intelligence one
well you have emotion, you express or interpret it differently. perhaps you decide to bottle it up and never acknowledge it. nobody has no emotion, that's bullshit that people who are not in touch with their emotions and identity say to never understand how they feel about a situation.
I see people saying go out and talk to random strangers but me being in college I already everyday do that but how is that supposed to help they are random people that I probably will never see again and that I don't give a fuck about.
yeah and how is that different than random women you will talk to who will reject you? it's the same concept. you need practice, and not all of them will never speak to you again. that shows how inexperienced you are at this. some people want to make friends, some of them you can reach out to and be proactive about hanging out with.
The hard part is talking to someone you want to talk to cause it feels more risky of that makes sense.
how is it risky? are they going to kill you or something?
But I was going to talk with her no matter what so that's why I'm just seeking advice about that specific thing cause it's gonna happen no matter what and having a few tips in your pocket never hurts
there is no specific advice, the only advice is general truth that i outlined and there's thousands of posts about this. you want specific detailed manual on this specific interaction you're talking about? well there is none because 99% of the time you have no control over the situation. you can't make her react positively to you with some 'trick' or real-time tactical action you can take. all you can do is gain experience, keep practicing, learn as you go. humans are naturally social creatures but you dont learn how to be more social and interact with people by reading online comments. it's a very cerebral psychovisual experience, not one you read manuals or text about.
You seem very stubborn and ignoring the advice some folks are giving you in this thread. Basically denying things you wrote yourself. So I have to ask you: How serious are you about getting better? Because if you genuinely want to be better and learn how to interact with women, you need to be honest with yourself.

What I mean by risky is just the fact that I want to keep talking to them and if I blow it that will be the end of it.
the only thing you will risk is the friendship. you're not dating her right now. so what are you 'blowing' besides that? you want to keep a unrecipricated romantic interest around for what reason?
I mean stuff like “Oh when I do this it helps me or when combo gets dry and I don't know what to say I do this” but again my wording was pretty ass so can't blame you on that one.
i don't quite understand what you're saying here, but in general it sounds like you want a very specific instruction on how to react to a specific situation when in reality there is no way anyone can give you any valid or meaningful advice on this based on your posts. the only way someone can is if they were there to witness themselves. this is why posts that ask for very specific advice on how to deal with a specific situation tend to boil down to "just ask her out, stop being a pussy. failure doesn't matter on the road to progress". you want some sort of cure all advice, which is why i call it a 'trick'. sorry there is nothing anyone can say especially with such sparse details you've provided.
in person human interaction is very very complicated and involves things like tone, background, personality, environment, speech, body language, mood, etc. do you see how it's impossible to discuss this over internet posts? your best bet is to keep interacting with people as much as possible in as many settings as possible like it's a workout because you'll naturally learn what works and what doesnt and how to interact.

but I also think that a lot of guys go wrong about “just talking to her” and become a firm “NO” that it seems like a bad idea and builds this wrong sense of failure but in reality nothing ever starts if you don't do that so maybe that's why I thought of it as a risk.
what? this makes no sense. you can't go wrong with talking to someone and asking them out even if it's an awful interaction and rejection.
Also I don't really ask for extremely specific advice for example if someone were to come and ask you what's a question that is a good way to start a conversation there are of course personal factors but there are also general stuff that you can ask that can help everyone I think. That's what I mean.
no this makes no sense. you're not considering the fact it doesn't matter how you open a conversation as long as it isn't hostile.

No you cant. Because with someone as inexperienced as you, any interaction is a success you can learn from.

Don't get some of the toxic comments honestly.
First of all, Emotional Intelligence is not a real thing. There are multiple studies where almost all of the 'emotional intelligence' indicators can be mapped to other real personality parts (O.C.E.A.N). Plus, no one ever clearly defines what EQ really is, so most likely fake, or at least the high importance that people give to it.
These are my suggestions: 1) Don't go with a goal in mind when talking to someone. For example, "I will talk to her so I can get her number," or "I will talk to him so he invites me to a cool event." Instead, do it for the experience of talking.
2) Practice one thing at a time. If you push yourself too hard at the beginning, you are not gonna do it, and you are not going to make progress. Be nice to yourself and set goals that you can actually accomplish.
- One week, try giving X amounts of compliments to random people every day. That's it. "Hey dude, cool shirt," "Hey, your hair looks awesome. Thought I should mention that." Whatever it is, just find something to compliment.
- Another week try opening people into conversation. Easiest way is probably 'Opinion Openers,' you can look them up or make your own, but it's basically asking them an opinion on something interesting. Best way to do it, is give them two options to choose from, and then tell a story or a follow-up question. Another great way to do it, is go shopping, and ask people around to give you opinions on different clothes (also great to learn about fashion a bit if you ask people that look cool).
3) Once you have already connected, you can ask open ended and interested questions. People's favorite topic is themselves. Problem is most don't know how to ask question and LISTEN. I remember a date with a girl where she said she had an awesome topic and gotten closer to me, and I barely said a word about myself. Instead, I just asked questions, listened to the answer, and went off it. I can expand on this and give examples later.
4) Use the 3-2-1 Method. Basically, every time you know you have to do something, you count backwards from 3 to 1, and then you take action. Basically, your mind takes about 5 seconds to come up with excuses so if you want to go to the gym for example:
- 3-2-1, get up. 3-2-1 start getting dressed. 3-2-1 go to the door, etc. This is an exaggeration of course, but sometimes it helps in the beginning just to get used to it.
You would do the same when you see her. 3-2-1 start walking. 3-2-1 say something. You can read more about this in 'The 5 Second Rule' by Mel Robbins.
u/anchoredteal gave some good advice. Experience matters a lot. The more you approach, the better it is. Like any skill. Not sure what the book is, but yeah, having a plan makes it a LOT easier to get over the fear of approaching.

Makes sense lol. My roommate has a very cold look sometimes when he doesn't realize, and he is one of the kindest people ever. Just remember to smile, and that will probably translate to your eyes quickly. Also, smiling is disarming and makes you less of a threat. So smile while you are approaching!
It's cool that you are excited. You have the right mindset then. Good luck! Let us know how it goes when you do it

Your not introverted you just lack social skills.
To have better social skills you just need to get some balls and start approaching more women. There’s no secret cure or tips go out and approach next time you see that girl say hi and introduce yourself

Introversion is when you are able to have social interaction but CHOOSE not to. Not knowing how to have a conversation with a woman isn’t introversion it’s just social awkwardness

Start with socializing. Start with making and maintaining eye contact with strangers. Hold conversations etc. Any easy method is talking to your waitress, they want to be nice to you for tips.
For Dating, start by going on dates with girls you don’t like as much. Seriously you don’t want to blow it with your crush because you’re awkward because your inexperienced. Get the awkwardness out with other girls, then once you feel confident and comfortable, ask your crush out.
Don’t sweat it man, you’re very young and have plenty of time.

Maybe you are shy?
- drop a condom from your pocket in a crowded place
- drop a condom near a girl
- drop 5-6 pennies from your pocket near a girl then pick them up one by one
- purchase only one strawberry in a marketplace and go to a young female cashier
BTW... how about calling a random phone number and asking something? If it is too easy, ask "what day is today"?

Maybe it's not just social skills, maybe it is. Either way the best way to break barriers is to throw yourself into deep water and just attack. No baby steps bullshit, although it would help to talk to random strangers as a warmup. Either way, what i think works best is going balls deep. :)
