its not set in stone. shes your gf. ofc she would like compliments, and its not a bad thing. maybe take it up a notch and tell her how much u wanna rip her clothes and pin her to the wall or something. better than just "omg youre so pretty" because she hears that a million times. now this depends on how intimate you are with her rn. if u think she would like it, go for it. if u think thats too strong, and she would like more cute innocent stuff the describe how you want to breathe and kiss her on the neck. its good to feel desired but not just in any way. A girl likes a challege but she also wants to be desired. and pleased.

Why is it so hard to satify both their desire for challange and appreciation at the same time.??

they wanna be desired by a man who has high standards, not just any man! So a man who hates women but makes an exception to her. Or a man who is taken. She wants to feel so special and irresistable that a monk will break his vows for her. (dont become a monk tho) You get the idea. for a normal relationship i think its enough to just pretend ur falling for her irresistable charm despite your efforts not to, than come off as desparate or sex starved.
Women just put more focus in the subjective and relative ideas of a mans value to make sure shes making the right choice because biologically women cant afford to screw up. once ur pregnant with a less than stellar mans baby ur stuck with it for a long time. Men dont have this burden, and inevitably affects what they find more important. Like loyalty, because of similar evolutionary reasons. sorry for the complicated lecture but it all makes sense if u think about it

It’s your girlfriend, you know best what to do and goes to communicate with her, no redditor is going to know the answer, but I doubt your girlfriend is gonna be estatic about a “cool pic”
“Game” is more so for single people who are looking for a relationship

Shes your girlfriend dude. You should say whatever you feel is appropriate. Not what the internet or some clown who writes a book tells you.
Like isnt the point of a committed relationship supposed to be being yourself, saying what you feel like saying, being vulnerable, and sharing experiences with someone else. This will be your own special unique circumstance. Nobody can tell you how to behave besides core fundamentals (be romantic, be caring, be selfless, take care of yourself as well)

Just one rule, dont be obsequious, that's all you need to bear in mind. Forget all the gamey shit.

I try to give as little compliments as possible. So that when I DO give they actually mean something.
When it comes to photos. Women send them in order to get validation from you. However, I rarely give them that. No matter if she is my gf or not.
The best reply is to say something funny or just say something nice about the photo itself.
"Wow, I like the angle of the photo, good job", instead of "Omg, you look gorgeous"
