You approach table. She looks at you worried about her conference call.

How will they know she attended the meeting if they can't see her?

You look back and give a stupid grin. You whip out two sparklers and say

"Don't worry bebe girl, they going to be able to see how you light up the whole world with that smile"

Then break out into dance and start waving sparklers behind her as she continues the call. The others on the call start cheering and saying how you are awesome guy.

When her call ends. Do not ask her for her number.

She will chase you and say aren't you going to ask me for my number.

You do stupid grin again and say why ask for your number when I have your heart.

Suddenly she's pregnant. It's twins.

I think it’s fine as a last resort. It shows you have empathy: you see she’s busy and you aren’t going to creepily linger waiting for her video call to end, but you’re still confident enough to attempt to meet her in a respectful way. Update us if she texts you.

Honestly, I like the idea and I've liked it when it's happened to me.

Gives me a bit more power in the situation, so long as the note-dropper isn't lingering and looming. Maybe a quick wave, if I can spare my attention, so I can put a (hopefully) friendly face to the note and that lets me decide if I wanna move forward and on my own time. Kinda shows you can assert what you want, with respect and give me the space and comfort to do my own thing.

I would say your note is a bit too serious, but I get the vibe. I'm a woman and I have used/left a note or two before and it worked out for me.

If its me, and I am single and available too, there's no hurt for a coffee date. By that time, I will ask that guy again what makes him left the note rather than approaching me directly. The answer can be the determinant of what's next between us.
