Things that don’t apply:
Peacocking - The vast majority of guys who are good with girls don’t need to dress like a clown. They just dress normal. Nothing spectacular or anything.
Negging - Teasing and messing with her has been found to be far more effective than negging, as it’s not offensive unlike negging, and women actually enjoy it more. No need to attack a girl’s self-esteem.
Pretending you are not interested in the girl at first because you lose value - It’s perfectly fine to be interested from the beggining, just show conditional interest to maintain your value, and reward when she qualifies herself with further interest.
High value routines - While it’s fine to be high value man and have high value stories, the reality is women can be attracted to a guy who can make them feel emotions even if he doesn’t demonstrate high value, and who can take advantage of the high buying temperature that those emotions causes to escalate.
7 hour rule - You are right, you can kiss and have sex with a girl much faster than that.
Canned materials - You don’t need to memorise a whole freaking manual of possible DHV stories or witty lines or magic tricks or any of that stuff, because that only puts you in your head and makes you act robotic with girls.

Well said.
I've always been skeptical of Mystery as he relied way too heavily on dressing like a gimp to get attention from Women (drunk Women might I add). It's very low value behavior (the same with negging). Confidence comes from within, not without.

I always thought peacocking had more to do with dressing for attention in a way that fits with your personality/lifestyle. Take me, for example. I tend to wear graphic tees, but only for things I have a genuine interest in like my favorite movie & shows. That way I have somewhere to take the conversation when some says "I like your shirt."
Where's the line between teasing and negging?
I find that canned material can work but it's situational. If you try to force the conversation in a certain direction just so you can recite your script, you'll probably fail.

The line between teasing and negging is whether you are attacking someone’s insecurities or not. Teasing doesn’t attack someone’s insecurities, negging does.
Negging: “That’s a nice shirt… it makes you look less fat”
You are attacking her insecurities like this, and won’t be received well by the vast majority of girls even if they are not fat.
Teasing - She drops a glass into the floor by accident and you say something like:
“Hey Bartender, i think you need to cut her off!! She’s had enough alcohol for today”
or
“I told you to stop drinking, have you gone into rehab yet?”
Works specially well if she doesn’t even drink alcohol. However if she truly was in rehab and had a serious problem with alcohol, then you shouldn’t say this because then you’d be negging.
With teasing you are not attacking her insecurities, therefore you come across as a fun guy, who is just messing with her.

So spot on. Teasing is fun...negging is mean.

Pre-selection, jealousy plotline and protector of love one. Still extremely attractive to women and most people.

Why not enumerate and lay out the rules? You might get more feedback.

All the parts work I'd say. Maybe if some of the gambits/routines are too known they will not work because the women already know them but that depends on your delivery. Women will accept something generic as long as your delivery is great.

I was able to get a few lays thanks to this book, but he really stresses 'reproduction' being as important almost as food and shelter, even if you aren't interested in starting a family. And most of his techniques are for short-term fun and ONS I'm surprised he stressed the baby stuff. On the back cover the guy looks like a clown with his weird hat and black fingernail polish. Right there you should get this guy is emo.
In Neil Strauss' biography he says this guy was super depressed and crying in his house over never having a steady relationship. The guy's true name is revealed in the book Models by Mark Manson.

Absolutely none! They've never been relevant.
You are better off with a mainstream book on flirting/dating.
[–]ZachMoore88 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (17 children) | Copy Link
How do you know they've never been relevant?
[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (16 children) | Copy Link
Life!
Basically everything in that book will turn you into a joke/nerd/clown & expert at repelling woman.
Just ignore it.

Could you give an example of something he says to do that just.....doesn't work?
[–]CocoBabeNYC 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Just trust him on that one bro
[–]ZachMoore88 -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
No. We don't do blind trust here.

Negging is moronic. Be playful, not negative. No one wants to be told their opinions, likes, or dislikes are garbage. Shocker, it doesn't work, and only shows you shallow, self defeating partners that are no fun to be around. Anyone with any depth can see that it's not being playful, it's being a fucking jerk.
7 hour rule. Why? If they're are into you and you're into them, why not just be up front? Why have a waiting period if it's readily apparent this person wants you sexually? What is this 1277? "No, fair maiden, I must remaineth chaste and distant for no goddamn reason so you'll want me more than you already do!"

I'm not saying you're wrong....but if Mystery's techniques don't work, then how was he getting laid so much?
[–]BIN-BON 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link
He's semi attractive and rather manipulative. Further on, he's rich, and obviously gives very little of a shit who hates him and who doesn't. It also helps that he's obviously sort of secure in his person. Also, many of these women in these PUA vids are actresses.
[–]ZachMoore88 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link
Manipulative? As in.....the techniques he uses and teaches? The ones you said didn't work?
[–]BIN-BON 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
He literally describes himself as a mentalist.
[–]ZachMoore88 -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
Either it works....or it doesn't. That's the question
[–]CocoBabeNYC 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
ZERO OF IT APPLIES! It's the most retarded philosophy ever invented.
