You won't be super confident escalating at first. You just have to start doing it. Confidence comes from doing it repeatedly, probably badly at first, and then getting comfortable with it. If you wait until you're already confident and comfortable before you start doing it, you'll never do it. The confidence comes AFTER you do it. Courage is not the absence of fear. It is the presence of fear yet the will to go on.

Want the easiest and actionable suggestion?

Dance and have your own fun (if on the dance floor): they’ll do with you
Smile and keep eye contact: they’ll smile you back
Take their hands while smiling and dancing: they’ll give their hands, or they’ll just take them back
Make them “rotate”, gently grab their hips, hug them (not too often, not too long, calibrate!) and whatever allows “touch” between you.

This is a gradual and non-verbal escalation, if she’s comfortable, continue, otherwise stop the escalation and just keep the good vibes going on

Do it casually, relaxed, with the confidence you would have if she was a 5 year old girl at a wedding party and you were giving her the fun to dance

If everything is going smooth AND she’s playing this game with you, you can whisper her to grab something at the bar, smoke a cigarette out there, or whatever gets you out from the dance floor and puts you in a more comfortable space to talk and/or kiss etc…
