First and foremost, get your place furnished and comfortable. Do it for you, not for women. It’s going to be hard to be seductive if you have chaotic energy in your life. Your personal living space is paramount. Put thought into it and don’t be cheap. If you’re going to splurge on anything, make this it.
Buy some nice casual clothes that fit well. You don’t have to spend a lot of money either, it’s easier since you’re in shape. Apt 9 (Kohl’s), Uniqlo, Bella canvas, Banana Republic are some inexpensive brands I enjoy. Get some nice looking sneakers as well. Find a look/style that makes you feel confident and go in that direction.
Celebrate and get yourself a nice watch. Doesn’t have to be a Rolex or Omega, but a nice Seiko or Bulova. A watch is a subtle indicator of status. You’re a doctor, a nice watch is almost part of the image.
Make sure your grooming is maintained, hair, nails, and teeth are all taken care of.
Get a good cologne. Scent is an underrated component of outward attractiveness. Prada Carbon, Bleu de Chanel, any Aqua di Gio are safe bets
Good luck and congrats. Women are drawn to status, so having of the most prestigious jobs in U.S. society will be an advantage. Just keep an eye out for red flags and be sure the women you encounter have good intentions.

Thanks for the advice! Lots of good tips in there. When you mention splurging on my personal living space, which piece of furniture/which room are you talking about? I’ve been Ikea college dorm room living for so long, I don’t even know where to start.

I think the bed and the couch are the most important pieces of furniture in the house. Living room and bedroom. I’m in FL, not sure if they have any in TX, but Ashley furniture was my favorite store when I furnished my house a few years ago. I also used Wayfair a lot and All Modern. No more IKEA, you’re not a student/resident any more.

Err... Invest
Buy real estate. Leverage your earnings to use debt and buy rental properties. Grow your portfolio, retire in ten years.

hey u/primalreward I have a best friend in real estate, I would hold off on buying anything right now because the housing market is double since the pandemic even in TX here in Nashville housing went up 60 % in two years (450k house is now 900k). And there are going to be a ton of Foreclosures because the housing moratorium ended in march meaning people aren't going to be able to pay back their houses. you can google Pre-foreclosures.. you can pay cash for houses for CHEAP!!!
I would wait to buy houses and buy a few and rent them out, pretty soon you won't have to work.. maybe at my age which is 40. I started late but my friend is a millionaire at age 45 and only works because his wife makes him lol
For Clothing TJ maxx is your best friend, you don't need more than that plenty of guys in 500 lay range like Alex from play with fire dress in V-neck and jeans, he isn't super jacked either also i'm 150 lbs and do great with ladies but that was LA. ( note in TX everyone has a gun or knife so just be careful)
For diet Costco, For a really nice bed, I like an avocado green mattress its $$$$ but well worth every penny.
honestly, the south is horrible to game, I've been in Nashville for a year and I know Dallas isn't the south but I've been once and I think nashville is sorta the same with the type of women you are going to see at bars, venues, clubs... women who are super into god and not having sex with you unless they already have kids or you commit to them.
Never lie about your attention because again everyone in TX has a gun or knife in their car. I have other guy single friend who told me a bunch of stories and all the locals know who the "loose" women are already.. there words not mine happy pimping

Nashville's downtown is so fucking amazing. I wish Dallas had a music scene like Nashville.

Yeah, the real estate market has been crazy as of late. Since I am moving cross country for the position, I am looking into renting an apartment for a year. Luxury apartments in downtown Dallas are surprisingly affordable. I’m still debating living downtown at $2.5k or close to a lake for $2k or near my office at $2k. I just know nothing about Dallas…
But it appears your main advice is to live that financial freedom life. Practicing medicine is a passion for me, so the impetus to “quit my day job” isn’t there for me. However, I definitely see the wisdom of financial freedom as it does allow one much more freedom in every other aspect of life.

Congrats on the pay bump, best bang for your buck would be to find a hairstylist you really like. I’m not talking a nice barber at a sportsclips, but a real hair salon. The kind of people you will rub shoulders with when you become a regular is worth the higher cost.
You mentioned that you aren’t shredded: work with a personal trainer. Getting your body in top shape would do wonders for your mindset.
Honestly, clothes and cars are overrated and as you are still getting your financial footing, it’s better to invest in real estate or something rather than getting depreciating assets.
Well, it’s necessary for man to pursue happiness to pursue the values he thinks are best for that, not to worry about status because it’s status. So from that perspective, no one can really know how you should best spend your money.
Without thinking about it much, since I’d be buying new furnishings, then it’s probably good to buy what I like now instead of having to get rid of the old ones and buy new ones later. But maybe not. And it depends on what my housing situation and plans would be. After that, I’d probably spend things on a combination of everything, fashion, electronics, hobbies/entertainment, delicious healthy food, fitness, the arts. Depending on the budgeting, the state of your car and what sorts of cars that I like are available, I might save the car for later since I’m not much of a car guy. Maybe I’d hire a car and a driver for the evening if I needed it for a date.

Hey, as someone else said buy some furnishings for your personal comfort. It's so good having a nice look and cozy house. Don't buy cheap furniture from Ikea. You are a doctor and a doctor after all those years of hard work need some comofort! Just look on the internet, find some local sellers, show them photos of the house and see what they can offer. Add some air conditioning, solar panels etc. - small investments for the future, because you won't spend money on heating, electricity etc.
Talking about clothing - there are a lot of cheap brands that are perfect like H&M. This subreddit is full of advices on how to find your own style.

Regarding the car just wait, it's not essential. You could buy something a little used with 2-3 years of life.

Don't mess it up by getting a fancy car and a huge house while you are broke with your massive loans.
[–]5_7pickup 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You dont need expensive/materialistic stuff to attract women. Dont bother with that stuff. I dont even wear a watch anymore and I still pull.
When I go out to pickup women, I drive a 20k honda and my fit probably cost $150-200 total.
Btw, being a doctor and making money wont improve your dating life incase you think it was going to.

Dallas resident here. If you're looking to buy some nice quality clothes you can visit North Park Mall (probably the best Mall in Dallas). That's if you want some high quality material. Bishop Arts district in Oak Cliff has a lot of good places to eat (some are expensive). Mockingbird Station is also a good hang out spot. They have a place called Buddha Juice that sells a lot of healthy organic drinks. Maybe buy a good bike and go biking at White Rock lake for exercise. If you want to take a woman out on a nice restaurant Texas De Brazil is a good option. Country girls are located at Red River, Spanish girls are at Medusa. Maybe go buy a new car, it's always good to have two vehicles.
Howdy neighbor. LOL!
One of the apartments I am looking at is Parc that borders White Rock lake. Where I’m from, parks and lakes are a little greener, walking paths more well lit, and I was curious what the culture/safety of the surrounding lake was.
