From what you tell us it does seem that he like you and if he does then he won't care about you being poor nor homeless. And please don't say that he is better of without you, you don't want to have that mindset. Also the sooner you tell him about your situation the better it is, if he is decent then he will understand and support you. Don't be ashamed about telling him.
Wish you the best :)

I'm a pretty quirky person idk I feel like I'm looking like a fool infront of him 24/7 I like him but I think he would be better off without me

Relatable, dating is tough when your shit is not together. I have lost a plenty of opportunity, because I don’t have an extra penny to spend other than my food, rent and bills. People judge really fast. My friends go to clubbing, movies, beach and I am just doing the low wage shit. Sometimes feels like I don’t have any real friends.

You said that u dont lack too much confidence but i see that ur extremely lacking
most guys wont see you badly because you still unstable financially hell they will even be happy to help you if they can afford that but having to reassure someone 24/7 could be really tyring and therefore a deal breaker
So my advise is to work on yourself on that side and be honest with him about your financial situation if he said he dont mind than i'm sure he really mean it

Seek therapy and just be vulnerable with ya man.

To add to this, there are therapy services you can get for free. DM me and I’ll send you the website to find a clinic in your area that offers free or reduced cost therapy based on your family size and income.

And Therapy is not a magical cure

Y'all realize that you're trying to talk a person out of getting mental health support for their mental health struggles? Would you be telling someone with a broken leg to do anything other than go see a doctor?
The right answer is the right answer, even if it's expensive and imperfect.

Thank you. People on the internet love to disagree w others for the hell of it.
Actually I have been in therapy since coming to college. But I'm taking a break SUGGESTED FROM MY THERAPIST so I don't wanna here you need to go back. This isn't my first rodeo.
I'm human and I was SA there will never not be a day where it doesn't affect me I kinda already came to that realization. I think it's pretty normal to feeling what I'm feeling right now. Being on two different ends economically and I just started adult hood. I just worried it's gonna blow up in my face last time. I know when the time comes how to be open I do tend to avoid it sometimes but I actively do try to say what's on my mind.

I'm glad to hear that! As always, the advice of people you know and trust (especially professionals) is worth a lot more than any advice you get from internet strangers.
I think it's pretty normal to feeling what I'm feeling right now.
Absolutely! There are many, many people struggling with issues of shame and vulnerability. Economic differences are only the tip of that iceberg.
If you haven't already, i would strongly encourage you to start reading everything by Brene Brown.

No. Food > therapy. Pyramid of needs.

I guess it depends on whether that is really the choice OP has to make.
I would wager that she has more options than that.

Focus on getting your life where you want it, then go after a man. You feel nervous because That kind of situation is gonna always keep you feeling powerless and like the guy's got all the control. You need to get your life under control get a job get yourself set up and help your family get on their feet before you go after dating. You'll be much stronger and in a much better place to have a good relationship in the 1st place.

I'm HOMELESS meaning I have no permanent residence. I'm under a lot of stress rn have you ever worried about your next meal, shower, where your going to sleep. Im have somewhere to stay for now. Im stressing over money bc I go to a private college that cost a lot of money. You can look at me and see that I am not of the same economic status of my peers. Im very limited on what I can do so let's say he wants to hang out I won't have money for a Uber there and back. I won't have money to buy a outfit to hang out with him shit like that. I don't have disposable income. Not to mention a lot of my stuff is old i shirts that still wear from early hs. You can tell that it's not new. I don't really want him to see me like this. Like his friends are gonna tell him to drop me.

Sorry for the tough situation you are in. Honestly, this sub isn't going to give you the best advice. Post your question in r/dating advice and you might get some helpful or at least reassuring comments.

Look up unemployment support and homeless support in your area. There should be resources at your school. Why are you so broke? Are you unable to hold a job? Not being judgmental just trying to help find solutions.

He had no point except that his life must suck and talking down to other people is the one thing that makes him feel better.
I’m so sorry that you’re going through all of this. I can’t imagine how tough that would be to deal with all of this while also having to focus on school.
I don’t really have advice on how to deal with this dude and situation. But, if someone is going to judge you based on how much money you have, especially this early in your life when your situation is more because of your family than your own life choices, then they are probably a shallow and horrible person. You’re experiences are making you a strong person, and you’ll likely succeed in whatever you do. There are many people out there that will recognize this, and appreciate the things you’ve overcome, and the person you are. Save your time and efforts making and strengthening relationships with those people, rather than anyone that will judge you or make you feel like shit for things beyond your control.
