This is the most reddit neckbeard perspective.
There are other visual indicators that suggest someone is confident without having to be good looking. The guy laughing at the bar with all his friends cracking jokes. The guy dancing with every girl on the floor. The guy at work that everyone can trust will handle whatever the problem is. The fucking dungeon master in your D&D group. The guy at the gym people feel comfortable asking form tips.
No matter what sphere of life you think of, if groups of people participate, there is someone there that people feel comfortable around.
Free your mind from the idea that you have to be hot to get with women. There's plenty of evidence around you if you look.

I know 5'6" guys who fuck hot women regularly. They know they have limits, but they don't care. They do whatever the fuck they want. It sounds like you have a lot of basic things to work on, but you can do it. I swear when I was 23 I thought that it could never happen for me. I'm 33 now and I honestly regret thinking that cuz it prevented me from living my best life. Grow up and keep trying. It'll get better I promise.
